A female friend of mine--who can speak Korean--thought that this MV was too racy and provocative because of the dance routine and costumes which reminded her of lingerie. I was alright as a guy with it, but I do attribute the dance steps partially to the 'marionette' theme of the song, which is about a girl who cannot forget the guy who left her, and hence gets played on by those memories and feelings of their love. Those butt rubbing against the backup dancers while their hands are up, and their deep squats are probably allusions to the way a marionette puppet moves when the puppet-master plays around with the strings.
