Kristal & Terry; Very nice video. You 2 do a great job. I wish you would have done the Ghosts & Gravestones tour. We will be in Savannah for 8 days in the near future and looking forward to taking it all in. Thank you again. Have you ever driven out to Tybee Island??
Hello! We were actually back in Savannah last weekend and took a drive out to Tybee island. It was packed! I recommend getting there very early to beat the crowds and find parking. If you’re looking for good food, there are several restaurants on the island itself that are good. We stopped at the famous Crab Shack but were not impressed with the food. Next time we go, we’ll take you up on the recommendation to do a Ghost tour! Enjoy your trip!
I love talking about my city. I appreciate y'all doing this video. But Savannah can't be truly enjoyed in one day. We have Fort Jackson, Fort Pulaski, Wormsloe State Park, Skidaway State Park, UGA aquarium and if you have kids Oatland Island Educational Center. But thanks for showing Savannah.
Oh! There are two great places to go for amazing views of the riverfront at night. One is called Rocks on the Roof and the other is simply called Rooftop Bar. Even if you don’t stay long, it’s worth a walk through to get those beautiful rooftop views!
Bi-level city , all those steps are sure to keep everyone in shape. Great video, diffenatly looks like a beautiful, relaxing place to visit ! Thanks for showing all the awesome sites !
The red phone booth shown in the video/vlog is part of the Six Pence Pub restaurant. This is where “Something to Talk About” starring Julia Roberts was filmed. If you watch the movie you’ll see the red phone booth. Savannah overall is a very beautiful city, and has some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. I really miss living there. Nice video and thank you for sharing.😊
that's one thing we don't have here in New Mexico Is trees to cool off I mean we do but not like there that's why I would absolutely live there in a heartbeat
Oh wow! I’m sure everything will work out with your trip. We felt safe in Savannah and we were there in June. It’s a beautiful area for your daughter to be stationed! Best of luck to her!
Such a well done video! I love how you say the prices and give details. I also love that you don’t spend the whole time filming yourselves while you talk about how beautiful the scenery is lol! May I ask what month you visited?
I enjoyed the funnies. We'll be visiting Savannah next month from the west coast and appreciate the tip on proper shoes for cobblestone street. How long were you in Savannah? Did you have enough time to see everything you wanted to see and did you wish you could stay longer? Thanks.
Hello! We were in Savannah for five days and I feel like it was enough time to see the things we wanted to see but I do wish we had taken a tour to Tybee island to see the lighthouse and coast line! I would recommend going to “The Rooftop Bar” at 125 River St. They serve food and you get a gorgeous panoramic view of the river. And I highly recommend taking a trolly tour or a private Savannah Carriage tour like we did. You learn so much about the history and architecture of the the area! I hope you have a wonderful trip!!
Hi Gracey! There are lots of Parking Garages and Public Parking Lots. You do have to pay to park but I can’t remember the fees. We parked at the Savannah Visitor’s Center a couple times and then walked. It’s a large lot off of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The official name is Pham Ave Parking. We also found paid parking down on River street but we got there quite early as parking near the riverfront can be very limited. You can do a quick Google search of Public Parking in Savannah and lots of options will pop up! 😃. Thanks for watching!!
Hello travelers! This is "Iron" Mike Crist, River Street's premier wire name maker. While on River Street, come and see me, and I will make your name out of wire for only $5. I'm set up every day from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in front of the Georgia Queen riverboat. I hope to see you all soon.
Hi Russell, We felt very safe in the main tourist areas. But as with any city, are a few neighborhoods outside the historic district that you may not want to wander around in at night. But overall, we were very comfortable there. The people were friendly and helpful 😊
Lol ! Tom-A-toe : Tom-AH-toe 😉. Terry is from Kentucky and I often think he sounds more like Foghorn Leghorn from the cartoons, rather than a true southerner 😂 Thank you so much for watching!!
This was great! Thanks!
Thanks guys for the video ) keep up the good work) stay positive and blessed.
Wish I could see this lovely city. Thanks for the virtual tour
Thank you for watching!! 😃

Best thing to do is bring or rent a bicycle an after traffic dies out just ride the historic district
Will be in Savannah Oct 18th for the first time …from So Cali.😎

We do too! 😃
Been there done that and live there. I just like to travel a lot. Stay frosty out there y'all.
Great video but you missed the house that put Savannah on the map. The Mercer-Williams house 429 Bull street.

@@KristalandTerry I really hope to visit there and eventually maybe move there
Heading to Savannah in Dec 2021. Daughter being assigned there for the Coast Guard. Hope covid does not ruin the trip

Awe! Thank you for the lovely comment! We were there in June. It was hot but not unbearable.

How's parking? Is it easy to find street parking?

I'm going to guess that Kristal is a Pisces and Terry is a Sagittarius.
Just a tip, dont wear black in Georgia during the warmer months, way too hot.

Brownstones are in NYC, not Savannah.
is Savannah safe? Ya know, crime wise.

Good video, annoying music...
not so good southern accent. If you're not from the south, don't butcher it. It's ( Pee-Cans) not (pa'kan) lol...but, great editing. thanks
