In this episode, we roll out of San Felipe and head south on Baja Highway 5.
We had a fuel line blow-off 130km into the trip, but we managed to get it repaired and get back on the road.
We almost make it to Guerrero Negro before more problems raise their ugly heads. We limp into Guerrero Negro, again manage to repair our issue, and continue our journey.
Our next night in Loreto is uneventful. We have a great dinner, walk around Loreto B.C.S. and get a good night's rest.
The next day is absolutely beautiful and we make it all the way home without any issues.
All in all, a pretty good Baja road trip!

I have to say, since I watched your last several videos over a couple of weeks time, I am so confused why you made this long trip up and back. What was the purpose? What was the trailer for?
The Hamptons were bringing the trailer down to Los Barriles for their beach rental business. Once the transmission died in their van they decided the Durango would work better as a tow vehicle. I agree.
Did you ever say why you brought the trailer down or made the trip?
Our friends bought that trailer to use for their beach equipment rental business down in Los Barriles, Baja MX.
My wife and I are driving down to Los barriles in June. Do you use a map app for travel and if so, which one?
We just use Google maps. Easiest crossing is at Mexicali East. Make your way out of town and there are two roads to get south. Highway 5 and Highway 1. The only time you'll need any map is getting through Mexicali on the north and La Paz in the south. Safe travels!

That is simply not true and it shows you don't know me very well. I do follow most rules actually. I'm sure you follow every rule all the time, but I guess I'm not as perfect as you. Not that I need to explain anything to anyone, but the reason we have shot video in some places is because we have many viewers who are not able to travel and can't get to the places we go. You have no idea how many emails I received from people thanking us for taking them places they couldn't see on their own. When I took video like that it was for viewers benefit, not because I just thought, "screw the rules, I'm doing this anyway." I've never taking video at high security facilities or places where it does any harm to anyone.
