RotaTamps are a marvellous invention. Far more adaptable than powerfloating for small jobs. Just staggered the ground workers weren’t wearing wellies. The issues of cement burns to feet were very well publicised by 2011.
Another good one Richard. Can't believe how long the trucks were happy waiting to tip. Wouldn't happen today without penalties - times change; it's only 11 years ago.
Loving these retro video’s 👍 Only thing I can’t work out is the grass covered passages next to the silage shed. Would it be for a cow track or hiding place for tyres to cover the silage pit? Thanks
I Bet those guys laying the concrete wished they put there welly boots on..........looks like there trousers, socks, and boots will all be welded together with cement by the end of the day. there doing a great job
Hi Richard I noticed they never put steel mesh in the concrete in my mind that's bad mistake as over time the ground will settle and you will get cracks in it as we tried that' in one our Dutch barns and we instantly regretted not putting re bar in the concrete also it did have the fibre glass in the concrete aswell and still cracked
Well the concrete has been down 11 years so far and still stood the test of time, i guess that’s because it’s only really ever had cattle on it and not much heavy machinery, they did put some rebar down on the edges to join the concrete together

I have to tell you Richard. I really enjoy these construction videos. It's awesome to see how far your place has come
There is something so satisfying about watching construction and concrete installation. 👍👍😁
Them old geezers know exactly what they are doing. Love it!

Good morning Richard

Great video Richard. Why was there a passageway left between the new shed and the existing one?
because of the drop in the ground we decided to leave it and use it as storage. workd really well for straw
How much milk will it take to pay for all that?
A lot more these days than back to when this was filmed.
