Jinne, I use the XL 2 gallon Hefty plastic bags as Packing cubes. There is enough room to pack a one day outfit. Then sit on the bag to squeeze out air, and zip the bag, repeat until you're packed. Makes packing a suitcase, carry-on and totebags a breeze. Clean clothing out, and dirty clothes get zipped back in the bags with a Gain Dryer sheet. Easy organizing while traveling. And dirty clothes won't stink up the suitcase or clean clothes.
One item i like to stock up on is box milk. they have whole ,2% and i believe skim as well as oat and other types. they are one quart generally good for one year. Dont need to be refrigerated unti opened. If you run out of milk or need some for cooking or baking they are handy.
All great things that I have. The over-sized zip lock bags are better than the Handi-Wrap brand, which tend to pull away at the top. The moisture absorbers are always in closets, under high dressers or beds, wherever we store shoes. Our recent personal SHTF was not as long as we feared, but we have had a big snow/ice storm and lost power for a while, more expected Friday.
Wish I could find the Wound Care Kit. There are 3 Dollar Tree stores within 20 miles but “no luck”. The push lights are so handy everywhere in the house.
That's a Great haul Jinne, a good Mixture of items. 👍 I have some of those underbed cloth bags, you can get a same size cardboard box, slice it in half & fit it in them snuggly, so you have some more rigidity to the bag. Works great for tins. TFS HC, take care, & keep really busy everyone. Belated Happy New Year too. ❤️🙂🐶
Wow... those are some large soap refills....$1.25 is a super great deal for those that's probably why I can't find them at either of the dollar trees I shop. Thanks for encouraging us and giving us great ideas on pantry supplies.
Be sure to look for those large size soft soaps, sometimes you can get shampoo in the 16 to 18 ounce bottles, the ones that she showed, I got two of the native brand lotions in 16 size for $1.25. The lady behind me said why buy such a big bottle last you forever. I said that’s why I buy the big bottle. But now that I have terminal cancer it’s still a hard habit to break. I try to only buy enough for possibly two years that’s what they give me. So my poor executive asks us what am I going to do with all this stuff? I told her you will see you over the next two years. You will need all this stuff. And I truly believe that.
Thank you that's a helpful list of items for the pantry. D.T. is selling the Dove Chocolate pudding large boxes $1.25 very good making it with DT shelf stable milk that im rotating . Yum! Use the milk in the boxes of scallop potatoes too. Appreciate all the tips from Jinny and in the comments.😊
Hi Jinne, another great haul. I keep looking for the 1st aid kits but our store never has them. You always give such good ideas for the items you get. I often pick up things you mention. Thanks. 😊

We never shop the $1.25 store. Yes prices are $1.25 each but the packages are so small, it makes the items overpriced
