I have this host as a Convoy M21E with GT FC40 4500K high CRI and the quality of the beam blows away all other emitters, including the Nichia 519A in my opinion! I have the Pioneman K45 coming with XHP 50.3 5000K high CRI to compare. Also have Pioneman K80-70 XHP70.3 5000K high CRI in the mail. I think the quality of the beam colors are more important than the lumens.
Great comparison! I wonder how much an orange peel reflector improves the CRI and shifts kelvin in the hot spot/corona part of the beam. Seems like some LEDs with the smooth reflectors have a lot of one color at the outer edge of the flood ring, the orange peel might help blend that a little better. I would assume mixing the colors of the light more would improve CRI.
Thanks for the shout out! Nice seeing the different led options in the same host. Now you need the 70.3 and 50.3 HI options, lol!
No problem my friend appreciate you 🙏
Best looking host in my opinion
