I appreciate the thought, but my art skills are kind of lacking there. This is more placement of object to dress up an environment. So I guess i would be placing junk, boxes and desk fans everywhere 😂

Good luck! I Hope it goes well. The biggest problem I had early on was starting at the top of the waterfall and building down. 76 doesn't like that much! 😂
I built on top of the waterfall and fitted the lead extractor up top in my base
I made a bar/restaurant in Fallout 4 on Spectacle Island I call "The Dire Mires Inn" it has dining tables & chairs, 4 Mirelurk heads (King, Hunter, Regular & Queen) mounted on the wall, paintings, bar, fence (general store), 1 bedroom for rent, & a sign saying "The Dire Mires Inn" out the front. Who thinks that is cool?

Such a cool build
When I placed my camp down in this spot I placed it on top of the waterfall and created a house that incorporated an archway that the waterfall flowed under, turned out pretty well.
You can also use the water from the waterfall to purify water
I actually ended up using this spot and created a garage build but I didn’t go to the top of the waterfall so I wouldn’t attract the crashed plane enemies so easily, I managed to get my purifier in a postition at the bottom of the waterfall and I love it

I was thinking more along the lines of a shower! A bath would definitely work though.
@@DarthXionGames Haha yeah shower shows better seen someone eariler at that spot and they had a decontamination Shower their there base wasn't as nice as yours doe😁🇬🇧👍

Excellent work! However... you forgot the most important thing! Where did you place the center of your C.A.M.P? (and not quite as important: did the sphere include the lead resource?)
The camp unit was at the top of the waterfall (on the south side of the stream I think). Not sure about the resource node. I wasn't really interested in that at the time so it may well not be in.

I being trying to do this for like 7 hours now i think i put the foundation at the atart in correctly then when go in to place the wooden defenses in they wont place same with the floor i feel like paying you all my caps just the build this for me lol

I have to say I was trying to build a similar structure to yours, really like it. I always dreamed of building a camp with the waterfall. I have now spent over 6 hours and I just can’t do it… when I get to the second level I cannot place the single floor that almost touches the rocks. In your case almost… I am about to quit, sadly…
It's definitely a frustrating spot to build. Unfortunately I think this sort of thing stretches the limit of what was intended with the build system.
It sound like the position of the initial foundation you're building out of is putting the floor piece just a bit too close to the rocks. I've done a couple of builds that struggle with that issue. 😕 It always comes down to patience and trial and error.

@@DarthXionGames I want to give up, I spent so many hours trying to set it up. But then I am stubborn as a mule and come back for more… so frustrating to be like I am, lol

Really nice build man. I built here probably a month after launch. We didnt have half the items an stuff back then! didnt look half as good!
Really wish they would do something about that invisible barrier that blocks movement too close to foundations. But it works I guess.
It's a gorgeous location, but a total pain to build in. I've seen a few builds here, some that use the waterfall but most, I guess, give up on it. Quite understandably tbh. It came out well, but not before clumps of my hair were pulled out too!
Having the items to decorate with makes all the difference. The structure is not that remarkable really, but the decoration is what makes it, imo. I'm glad you liked it.😊
I've never run into the foundation issue before but it's an odd one. An overly large collision box I should imagine. Or something to that effect.
@@DarthXionGames Have quite a lot of issues with foundations when building bunkers that use foundations as walls in areas. I read ages ago its because enemy NPCS need to be able to path up foundations. If you get to close to a raised foundation an walk next to it you will find yourself trapped in a invisible box around the foundation.
@@randomhero6365 That's pretty much what was happening. Bethesda did make some changes a while back to prevent foundations from being stacked, pathing issues could be part of the reason, though I got the impression it had more to do with PvP and foundations being indestructible. Since PvP has been massively dialled back its possible they might make changes again in future, though I doubt they'd allow stacking either way.
Nice job man! I just built mine with stacked foundations too, it can be tricky sometimes
The most interesting spots are often the hardest to build in. The result are worth it though. This is one of my favourite builds.

Where did you get the wood panelling wallpaper? For the life of me I can't seem to find it.
It's an Atomic Shop item. They come and go though. The Shop refreshes every Tuesday so it's always worth checking back.
@@DarthXionGames Thanks! Yeah, I figured it was in the Atomic Shop but wasn't able to locate it so I wasn't sure. I was unaware as to how often it was refreshed. Thats good to know! Thanks! And great build btw!

Your lower wall placement issue around 9:45- 9:56 was cause by the stairs, and upper foundation placement. I think the foundations bounding box threw it off..
Yeah, that was a strange problem. You'd think that would stop the foundation from working at all, but apparently not.
Not letting me do 13:40 which sucks. Not letting me clip and it says I'm out of the build area so I guess it's patched

holy crap i know exactly where you set your camp in game... i literally went right there before looking up videos for ideas for a proper aesthetic design to the location. i dont think i will do much different.
Cool spot but too damn popular. I happen to build in less frequently build areas.
I did have to server hop a couple of times. Tbh though it's maybe 2/10 tops. Not too bad really. Nothing like the areas around the Whitespring.
Where did you place your camp?
It's at the top of the cliff, close to the edge. Just on the south side of the stream.
Every time I try to build perimeter wall railing it says needs support I’m confused
They've not been working properly since steel dawn unfortunately. Railings snap to foundations ok but that's it. It's due to be fixed, hopefully in the next update.
I'm having an issue with the wood defense walls. it keep saying it needs support. I did everything your doing its rather frustrating.
where did you put the little camp box?
I put it at the top of the waterfall. There wasn't a lot of build space at the bottom TBF. It was one of the more awkward spots I've built in.
Will this build work on PS4 or will it be exceeding the building range?
I would imagine it will work. I don't think the space or the budgets are any different between platforms.
The building mechanics in this game are trash tier.
They need to replace the entire game engine.

this game has a fkin huge potentional but goddammit... Its lack of it somehow... They could make easly best game of the year with a little more effort but fkin greed and rush.... the mechanics are so fkin trash... Its sad :/ Anyway its a beatiful house thx for your video! :))

You probably found it by now, but it's just east of the Crashed Plane (SW of Mosstown) in The Mire.
I made this but with an more fancy interior
it would be cool if i could actually build it tho. the camp area was to small for me and i couldnt place most of the stuff and it was really hard buy i have to live there for now since I spent my last caps to live their :(
building in this game is so damn wonky. still...
Fallout 4 was bad with building but 76 absolutely terrible to build with
