I can see that WD-40 gel may lubricate and clean some of the external moving parts around the wheel assembly. Maybe it would be good to include a quick note that to properly lubricate the inside of the bearing case (where the bearings are installed) requires service hardware (grease gun fitting) or else the bearings have to be exposed, in which case the lubricant specific to the application specified from the service manual should be recommended.
That stuff wears off the first 30 miles bro! You have to use wheel bearing grease for that. Those bearings have thousands of pounds on them. They aren’t garage door bearings or skateboard bearings.
@@MilandIvanforlife7 if so your bearing is already damaged and need to be replaced. i recommend getting the ABS sensor new as well as it is often rusted stuck and comes out in pleases. i just did this on the one we haver here. both front bearings have now ben replaced and it have not seen 150k km even. i'm used for the bearings to last close to 300k from my volvo's.

You shouldn't be spraying anything like that around your brake discs. As for 'better gas mileage' .... That's laughable.
This guy is obviously not a mechanic and hasn’t got a clue. You cannot possibly grease ANY modern day wheel bearings, they are SEALED.
Your dumb why do you think they dry out and fail
THE SEAL BEING BROKEN the trick works well I've done it for years
Stop giving people inaccurate information that can damage their vehicles! 😡
With age comes wisdom , he is young .
And dumb

I bet if you look at the can no where will it say anything even close to vehicle wheel bearings. 😂😂😂😂
is this a parody video?
No why?
@@MilandIvanforlife7 it's a sealed bearing. all you do is put lube on the ABS sensor and that will collect dust and crap and destroy it.
@@grapsorz I can clean it with the regular WD40 but so far I’m getting better gas mileage on my van
