Simon I really loved both of them I love butterflies and dragonflies they are my two favorites. But I think my mom would love a card with the flowers on it. They turned out beautiful both of them

I love using my gel press and the Powders do amazing on them! Sometimes I take gold or silver gel pen and run it through and it looks sort of like foiling. I have also pressed foil down on it while still a little wet for amazing colors!
Such a great video using pigment powders. I especially love how you used the embossing folder, after you fussy cut around it wow what a lovely looking crisp and simple card. Thank you Simon for another great idea in using what most of us have in our stash.

Both cards were beautiful! I liked the butterfly card the best because of the depth the powders had and because of the creative use of the gel press and stamping!

Oh my goodness! The cards are beautiful, but I must say the butterfly one is super stunning! I really enjoy playing with my gelli plate and this is new inspiration!
Beautiful. I have some of these powders, they are quite difficult to get hold of at the moment. I made a background using a couple of colours and then die cut several layers of a butterfly die, stuck them together to make a thicker butterfly (as shown by Natasha Foote)and then stuck onto a solid background and filled the wing sections with some nuvo drops to make a stain glass effect. Then set the butterfly on my background. Looks stunning. Love the nuvo range.

I adore the embossing folder technique. The powdered pigment inks gives such stunning effects. I've had a gel plate, for years, and I've never used it. Thanks for that technique, too.
I really loved the makes here, they are stunning. I've been meaning to get some such powders, but never have. Also, gel plates, but never have. I think this puts me over the edge to move forward on those things. I hadn't thought of using the stamping foam for just regular mirror image stamping. All so beautiful and I'd love to create some of my own cards like these! Thanks for sharing, very wow! Paula

I don't have any of the shimmer powder, but I have Brusho powders, and I bet using Perfect Pearls with it would look similar, although probably not quite as pretty. I love your cards!
