Love these cards! Wondering what the best way is to get the Pixie spray off of your stencil when you’re finished.
I’m a fellow 80s girl and love Lisa Franke too. I just love how fun these powders are. You gave me a new idea of stenciling with them, I don’t know why I had not thought of that, so thank you!
OH WOW!!! The Zebra, Giraffe and Waves are all my equal favourites. Magnificent. The Lindy's Magicals look intriguing.... might have to get some of those... particularly the Teal colour!!! Thanks Kristina, a wonderful tutorial as usual.
I like the giraffe pattern the best, but all of them are beautiful.
I taught 2nd grade in the 80s and saw quite a few Lisa Frank binders, notebooks and pencil bags. 😊
The Zebra and Cheetah backgrounds were my favorites. My daughter was born in the nineties. She loved Lisa Frank. She always picked out Lisa Frank school supplies. It was hard for her to choose from all the wonderful prints.
I like these. It is a beautiful day outside. Someone did not factor in the wind, when deciding to try this on the back porch. They are drying fast. Thank you for all the ideas.

Lisa Frank for the win!! Hahah you really rocked that cheetah print background. What a fun exercise in the pigment powders. I have been wanting to try Lindy's for a while. I also like Dinkles pigment powders. They have different colors all mixed into them.
Brushos are my favourite pigment powders as they have the most gorgeous colour blends, especially in grey, brown, black & a few other colours that are actually made of multicolour blends that surprise you with bursts of colour.
These backgrounds are all fabulous! The last one is my favorite too. It's VERY Lisa Frank! I still have some of her stickers, and her eyeshadow palette is one of my favorites. Great video, as always.

Wow, Kristina, I love how these backgrounds turned out! I was wondering if Instead of pouncing a paper towel over the stencil to sop up the excess color, why not use a watercolor panel to sop it up? That would make another background panel! Love the Teal (which is now in my SSS cart - thank you), so the Teal and Tea Pot Purple (on Notify) panel and the Wave panel are my two faves. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos for us! Rubber hugs!!

My Lisa Frank sticker box was everything!! Your backgrounds turned out beautiful. I'm always mesmerized by my stencils with nuvo shimmer powders. It was interesting to see how you do it. I usually just drop the dry powder throughout and then spray the heck out of it with water lol. It's amazing how much water it can take even when lifting up the stencil with it very wet. One of my favorite techniques for sure! It feels a bit like sorcery! Thanks for sharing your talent!
I'm a bit old for Lisa Frank, however, you really couldn't get away from her. My children weren't born yet during that era either. Love what you did with your backgrounds. I'm literally addicted to Lindy's Magicals. They are so versatile and come in the most beautiful colors. I have a few other pigment powders but, by far, I have the most Magicals. I used to try to enable Ardyth to try them out and she finally did. I have a love/hate relationship with Pixie spray. Sometimes it's really too much for the paper I'm using and I've had a few backgrounds ruined because of it but there truly is not substitute here in the States.

Hi. I’m loving this video and I’m getting lots of new ideas. But I’m not sure how I know the front or back of the stencil. Can you help me?
Depending on the brand, an increasing number of stencils will have the company’s name/stencil name, numbers (if it’s a set of layering stencils), or tick marks to help you align them with your paper, engraved or printed somewhere along the stencil edge. If that’s reading correctly, you’re looking at the front 😊 If there’s no writing/marking to ID the front, I find the back of the stencil usually has a rougher finish to the cut out areas. Tbh, for most (non-layering) stencils, it doesn’t really matter which side you use - for something like this technique, your results would be the same.
Definitely Lisa Frank. My favorite background too.
