how about some real demos not ones released by Geffen on promo singles? Up From The Ashes had 3 leftovers: Brain Dead, Slow Train To Nowhere and Desperate People. I want to hear those 3!
Loving, more raw and open. Must be Norum here, very Moorish and Schenkeresque. Demos mostly sound like crap, not here. Still one of my favourite albums ever, for sure one of the best Dokken has ever done. A more natrual follow-up to Under Lock And Key I think. Just wish they made more albums in this line-up, fantastic album!
This was the dokken demo. Then don dokken used it for his solo project. This song was actually made for under lock and key and then didn’t make the cut.
@@TopSecretBandOfficialwould be surprised, doesn't sound anything like Lynch to me. Not saying it ain't so, but this defintely sounds like the typical Norum style, especially the first part of the solo.
I still prefer the album version it heaver and has way more reverb on the drums but the demo still sounds pretty good not too far from what it ended up sounding like on the album just my opinion to each their own.
Listened to this album on tape while in the Gulf War, it is imprinted on my mind. Every song. It was one of my only tapes.
Sounds a little more natural. Raw, off the floor feel. Love it.
Sounds awesome
AWESOME. I LOVED HEARING THIS.

WOW! Aweseome!
It’s a shame this album didn’t take off. It’s got some great songs on it.
What a rare demo gem...thankyou!
not that rare, it was on the promo single for Give It Up that Geffen released in 1991 along with a remixed version
Cool Thanks I have the promo pack...was a great line up!
Love this album ! Love John Norum & his amazing Gary Moore influence !!!
Are you sure it's John Norum
playing lead here and not the watchtower guitarist Billy White.
Lynch influence as well here
@@lrn_news9171100%,Norum on this solo
Thanks for this rare gem

Damn I like this better than the original lol

George's Solo sounds raw and awesome!
Lol Dokken had broken up by then…that’s John Norum shredding here
@@IronMaidenQc Billy White too
@@MistaSCARY yeah was talking about the solo on that song...which is played by JN. But Billy White did a tremendous job on this album too !
