I've also loved your video about life in Japan with Wolfy and your wife Maiko. It makes me so relaxed and be able to imagine my own life with a child. Thank you Paolo, I'll keep supporting your channel!
Greetings from January! LOL Wolfy continues to grow even cuter! I hope you guys aren't worried - you are AMAZING parents. Wolfy is so clearly well cared for, and loved, and smart, and I love how whenever possible you give him the choice of things, like books or toys. I LOVE that Maiko speaks Japanese to him so much, that you guys are raising him bilingual. I love how honest you guys are about the foibles and realities of parenting. Thank you for letting us watch your journey. I was just re-watching the Wolfy's-birth episode the other day, and now here he is walking! It's crazy!
Can I just say that I love how open you are with the mistakes and confusion when it comes to being a first time husband and father (and family) It makes me want to encourage you guys even more to try your hardest and keep each other close
I love how seamlessly Maiko transitions between speaking Japanese and English (Japanglish). I do that too and I find it fascinating how the brain transitions between and processes multiple languages simultaneously when you’re truly bilingual (or trilingual or more!). とても不思議 🤯
It's amazing we can see Wolfy in the multiuniverse pre talking Wolfy and then on IG taking Wolfy . So cute. I wonder if he watches these clips and see how much he has developed. Have a blessed weekend buddy . ❤
Wolfie and my grandson were born like a day apart! So I absolutely love to see his progress as well as my grandsons!! They are both so darn cute I can't take it!! ❤️🥰 Love from US!!
You have a nice family. A smiling and beautiful woman, and Wolfy is a happy guy and he is just your precise copy. I'm happy, that you're such a positive people.
@tokyo Zebra The pronounciation of Godiva is go dee vuh. so Maiko is correct. she reads it how I read it (I am from Belgium) The name seems so straightforward, and if you're from the States or the U.K., you probably read it as God-EYE-vuh, but if you're from Belgium-where the 90-year-old brand is based-you know it as Go-DEE-vuh
It looks so warm there in the summer climate.. and by contrast, here I am watching this from my corner of the world in January, (-13°C) temps🥶❄ And although you may be concerned about Wolfy getting distracted at meal times, he already looks quite tall and long for his age, so he must be eating quite well and nutritiously!🤗
Love these videos so much. I find them so inspiring and they really help when I'm struggling with my 2 month old son. Can't wait for the next one. All the best for your little family.
Bro we back from another channel Japanese baby is so cute I like Japanese baby this is good feeling when she play baby in train I like Japanese baby smiles make me happy all day I was came from Chiba Japan is very great country to visit.
She pronounced Godiva the right way. It’s originally a Belgian company. Maybe I’m not the only one telling you this ☺️. I didn’t read the other comments. Anyway, I like your channel. It’s ver honest and gives a good insight in to what living in Japan is like. ❣️
a tip regarding wolfy's eating. toddlers start becoming more selective eaters after 12mo so having them self-feed helps a lot because they have more control of what they can eat.
Hello from Florida, USA! Don’t stress over being in a hurry to post videos. I get excited every time you post on both channels. Im loyal to both channels and love them. I will always watch them all! Btw Id love to know how the car culture is in Japan? I know usa they hate all things cars, and racing.
I have a question about strollers on escalators. How is it seen in Tokyo? Is it common? We do it all the time here in Australia and I would like to know if we can do it when we visit Tokyo. Thanks.
Kids go through stages where they don’t want to eat and then they go through stages where they want everything so worry it is normal. Same with Wolfy walking. He will get to it. He will find his balance and then watch out. Wolfy will be running everywhwere. You are great parents so don’t fret all will be good.
As a parent of a 4 month old, I think the house is just going to be messy sometimes. Maybe all the time for certain periods, but I think it’s okay. I feel like every day is always a game of: you have six things you need to do, now pick 2, maybe 3 if you’ve had good rest. But one of those 2-3 choices always has to be the baby haha
It ALL pays off ! Just keep working on your "system" for your kid. It ALL pays off. Believe and breathe it. Idk about child nutrition. My mum was a maturnity nurse for well over a decade after having 5 kids herself. She said routine was important (and hence why seasons are challenging it seems) and various other tricks. But I had Spanish friends and their children adapted their diet eg paella... so! I think gut biome is important but no idea how that relates to kids. His walking is impressive! I think just allowing them to be "Amoeba-like" and cling to you for those early years seems an absolute winner to helping them develop confidence and absolute love in their parents as said: It ALL pays off !! Of course many hands makes light work is probably a key to child-rearing too (extended family?)! Bless.
2 videos uploaded side by side but in the other video wolfy looks more matured like 6+ months older ^_^ hahaha. ive shared the other video to my sister as she lives in chiba and probably doesnt have the baby changing room locating app. we love babu chan her daughter 1 year 2 months now and runs tirelessly and loves going to places (in her young age has ridden in a plane to osaka and enjoyed dotonbori, me envious X_X). i also watched john daub only in japan coverages where we saw that odaiba beach was closed during olympics 2021, we were there 2019 and enjoyed the odaiba beach overlooking rainbow bridge and had pics with lady liberty (sadly we forgot gundam, but ill be back when the pandemic is over).
Has your family traveled to USA? Your wife is a treasure and does so much, cherish her....oh ya get her American citizenship....in case of a world war...USA and Canada are safer.

and Wolfy is a happy guy and he is just your precise copy.
I'm happy, that you're such a positive people.
It took me 30 episodes of Tokuo Zebra and many more videos from your Day in the lives of series to realize that it says "Toe Kyo" on your shirt!🤣

You should get Wolfy that toy car. He enjoys riding it.

Nice
I support you to claim ownership of “the day in the life” series.
So many people adopts your idea but fail to quote you as part of their motivation.
how old did Wolfy walk as my Grant daughter is 13 months old seems to have too soft legs thank you

@08:55
Is Wolfie his name or is that a nickname
👍
Ironically there is now no American Toys R US
I pronounce it like Maiko 🤗
Native English speaker here- I actually didn't know it was pronounced God-EYE-va.
Wolfy looks like his dad.
Paolo I think Maiko pronounced Godiva correctly and you're the incorrect one lol. if not then I've been saying it incorrectly myself my whole life😅😂
Wait am I having a stroke? Did the Olympics happen last summer? Why don't I remember it going on?
Dude 5:55 to 6:00 + is making me dizzy 😂
That thumbnail
Hello from the future
How do parents do it? We lower our standards and try not to care that the house is trashed. 😂
Has your family traveled to USA?
Your wife is a treasure and does so much, cherish her....oh ya get her American citizenship....in case of a world war...USA and Canada are safer.
I get the picky eater. My son is REALLY picky about his food. I am constantly begging for him to eat his food.
