All the people shouting enthusiastically in support of the formation of Pakistan in this film hardly know that in just a year up to two million people would lose their lives and of those who could live, up to fourteen million would loose their homes, land and almost everything they own as a result of the partition. Then for years there would be lingering political and religious tensions, wars and the nuclear weaponization of the Indian subcontinent. Would they have been as enthusiastic that day if they even had a hint of this future?
I'm a Pakistani myself but what you said is true i say the same thing but there's only 1% of people who can see the truth the partition of india only benefits the ruling classes and elites who loves bathing in innocent people's blood.
