    M. Ali Jinnah , he supported the unity , worked for congress but he understood that there are rlly two different nations living in the sub continent, and he understood that the equality he was dreaming of , was not possible. He knew that no matter what he does for this sub continent , he will never have equal rights and freedom, and all Muslims will somewhat suffer , so he left congress and joined muslim league.
When i was in junior classes i used to think he was wrong, we were all humans , we could've lived together happily but as time has passed my point of view has changed and i believe he was right

Jinnah was never an Indian patriot, coming from a family that made lots of money from fish business, Jinnah like his father was very spiteful and was sick both physically (Cancer) and mean mentality. The British got in him what they were looking for toe enfeeble the emerging India. but the Partition, looking back was a Blessing. India today can Move On and Ahead with a great chunk of myopically induced rabid Islamists not being part of our Land! Islamists of this genre are rancid and are never a healthy constituent of any body-politic! Sadly, Kemal Attarturk is never the ideal leader for the rabid Islamists, and the consequences are vivid and open for all of us to see! Reminds One of the saying-you can only take a buffalo to waters, but the drinking has to be done by the buffalo him/her self!

India was actually ruled by indian kings. zamindars and britishers in ratio of50-50. so if your are against gandhi and think that violence gave us freedom then u r wrong.
so it means violence against your own village head and local rulers. so it was an indian vs indian fight. but gandhi choose non violence as he know the fight was against dictatorship , dependence on britishers goods and resources.

Young Jinnah wanted to keep things together, struggled for freedom wholeheartedly. Being in congress and observing things from so close made him turn into the older Jinnah. Except the truth, know the reason... He was an intellectual n a great observer. u can't fool a wise man for long. he knew that before British Raaj Subcontinent was ruled by Muslims also, he realized that the position of Muslims has become much weaker. it's just that he did not want his ppl to compromise over anything.

Very rightly said by Abhijitji. People who were considered as real threats were served capital punishments or life threatening imprisonment. We can check the history of such people,
    1. Lokmanya Tilak imprisoned in Mandalay for 6 years on sedition charge, far away from mainland.
    2. Chandrashekhar Azad martyred in gun fight.
    3. Bhagat Singh death sentence
    4. Lala Lajpatrai succumbed to his wounds while protesting against Simon Commission was lathi charged brutally by British police.
    5. Swatantryaveer Savarkar locked up in far away Andaman prison for life sentence.

Then why did Subhas Chandra Boseji call Gandhiji a "father of the nation".
    Rabindranath Tagoreji called him "Mahatma".
I think Patel ji, Nehruji, Khan Abdul Ghafar ji, Rajendra Prasad ji and others did not follow Gandhiji throughout their life blindly.
A large number of intellectual people present at that time followed Gandhi why were they blind in seeing these facts or not intellect as we.
Today's UPSC board's Ethics paper questions are based on Gandhi's thoughts and his principles and this is not a small thing and the UPSC board is not a fool to guide their aspirants in the wrong direction who play a key role in the nation's development.

As a Pakistani American who grew up in Pakistan till 18+, I can tell you Pakistanis are not taught to hate Gandhi or Nehru. Nehru is given a tinge of negativity as compared to Gandhi. They are taught very little about them and what they are taught is fairly neutral. Gandhi's non-violent movement is mentioned. They are taught more about Sir Syed Ahmed Khan than Gandhi for instance. Unlike popular belief in Indian UA-cam channels, Pakistani high school students are also not taught to hate Hindus. Rather they are taught Muslim history in Indian sub-continent in such a way that one starts to identify with that identity. That does not mean one starts to hate Hindus nor was that ever that came across to me. I am generally shocked to see what these UA-cam videos show as to what supposedly Indians believe Pakistanis are taught. Now what they teach the poor in madrasas specially ones established in late 80's and onwards that teach the Salafi version of Islam ... I do not know.

As a Pakistani our textbooks also follow a certain narrative. They do tell about Jinnah’s affiliation with Congress and his stance for unity but then they quickly mention that Quaid himself got to this conclusion of two nation theory. As you said in the video, in our textbooks there’s hardly anything bad mentioned about Gandhi g. They just mention this big narrative of Hindus vs Muslims and never portray Gandhi G as villain. At the end of day the narrative that Gandhi and Jinaah fought for the freedom is a big exaggeration in both the countries. Reality is Britain was broke after ww2 and they just didn’t have enough resources and power to maintain their rule. So jaaty jaaty b aesi divide ki ha k ub socho to khayal aata ha k is se acha na hi divide karty. Khud Quaid e Azam sahab to 1 saal baad chalay gaey bechary aur hum phass gaey hain because totally 11 people make decisions for us and we have unofficially defaulted.

I would say in my opinion which might be controversial that Jinnah never wanted a concept of Pakistan , they used this tool as a means to bargain." If you won't give us Pakistan give us A,B,C D and they use to win that negotiation. Main culprit behind behind Muslim league losing trust in Congress was Congress itself. When Muslim league demanded Separate communal electorates, Congress was aware of the concequeces of denying the demands, just to have the support in upcoming elections they falsely claimed to fullfill their demands.. When time came, Congress turned upside down. 1st reason to initiate the flame

Read that, it's a very good piece on the other side of Gandhi. So when Amit Shah called him Chatur Baniya he wasn't all that wrong. He wanted Imperial Brotherhood with the British Army, be an Imperial Brother. He helped the British while they were killing the Zulus. Usmain bhi British ne Aukaat Dikhaadi Ki Bhai Tu Ambulance Chalaa.

In my small opinion Gandhiji's one of the major contribution in Indian consciousness was that he taught us find a creative way of functioning with whatever is available at your disposal, yo find in you what can't be taken away, turned down by anyone else, something which you originally posses and take a stance of your rightful duty, like a gentleman without using violence at all. This was unique at the time Gandhi came in Indian politics. People got a fresh start with leader who acts more down to earth than the poorest but whose willpower is stronger than the Empire itself. Gandhiji's policy of allowing the oppressor any opportunity to change his 'heart' is hardly found in any mass struggle of the world. That makes him a true Mahatma. But no one is beyond criticism. A constructive criticism is good always. Thank you

Mahatma Ghandi had many enemys inside and out of India because of the caste system he abolished
His enemies in Europe sprung because the British were genius at using the "Pen as a weapon " pay any journalist and it kills anyone faster than a Sword
1*If at all Ghadhiji was a British favoured Indian he will be driving around in a Rolls Royce , invited to every British Function , and would have been titled "SIR Ghandi "
2*Ghandhi was so hated by the British that they employed top journalist to write about him in the worst light
3* They never forgave him for bringing so much scandal and embarrassment to the Monarchy and the British Commonwealth
3*Ghandhi was so educated in laws of the country .rights of humans and he knew they used the caste system as the weapon to destroy India
3* When Ghandhi became peoples leader ,he dared to remain as poor as the masses of that time .
4* No leader could come to this state .He never lived a wealthy life ,he ate food like the common man and dressed like the poorest man
5*Why should he do that as he was a Brilliant lawyer and successful too
6*The British used journalist. and with the powerof the pen KILLED GHANDHI then and these irresponsible wicked biography written by him and against him
now surfaces on social media to
Rip of a man who died more than a century ago
7 Mahatma Ghandi .Suffered and was tortured in various jails by British for Indians ,Indian rights and Indian assets which was robbed by the British then
8*Its normal for people to fall "HOOK, LINE AND SINKER "for books and articles written by FOREIGNERS centuries ago but its a horrible shame and lack of basic psychological understanding of Human actions to jump into Negative conclusions of anyone for that matter
9* Hitler was the worst enemy of everyone so to fix Ghandhi at that period they pretend he is friend of Hitler and even gets to read a personal letter suposed to be written by Ghandhi to Hitler
10* Child molestation or abuse was a great sin then and now so to cause the scandal Ghandi fixed on the British in India ,they reciprocate with wicked lies in a book supposedly written by him
11* Every useless book on GHANDHI
was written by Paid journalist of the British tabloids of that era
Ghandhi was too simple and India could not have the paper to write or publish
    12*All was published in Britain
Indians were happy to use their palm leaves for messaging
Fancy. book's, fancy publishers printing all belonged to British
13* Today we know for a fact the ARYAN INVASION . was a farce designed by crooked Authors to give " Intelligence and Superamacy to outsiders not Indians
    These Authors are being ridiculed

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was founded on September 27, 1925, by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. At that time, India was still under British colonial rule, and the primary focus of the RSS was not to fight against the British colonial government. Instead, its main objective was to promote a sense of cultural and national identity among Hindus and instill a sense of discipline and character through physical fitness and ideological education.
During India's struggle for independence, various groups and movements fought against British rule, such as the Indian National Congress, led by figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, and the Muslim League, led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. These movements employed various methods of resistance, including non-violent civil disobedience and political agitation.
The RSS, as an organization, did not play a prominent role in the Indian independence movement. Its focus remained on promoting its ideology and organizing its members through shakhas (branches) across the country. It is essential to differentiate between the RSS's historical role and the broader Indian independence struggle that involved numerous other organizations and movements working towards the common goal of gaining independence from British rule.

Gandhi became Mahatma even before he entered India. This so called historian comfortably sidelined Gandhiji's contribution to people of South Africa.

Not an opportunist did Jinnah become, you can say that he came to terms with the reality. Without separation Muslims would get marginalized

  • @manojkotnala530

Gandhiji 's father was a Dewan of Kathiawad, Gujarat. Jinnah was a converted Muslim. He was master mind of Direct Action Day and post independence riots. History will never forgive these two persons who butchered Hindus and divided India for their vested interests. Both were from Gujarat. In some books I have read his name as Mohammed Ali Jhinnabhai Punja. Rest as discussed you have tried to balance Jinnah which is the matter of debate.

  • @switabhshrivastava182

Factually he is very wrong. Ganhi travelled whole India for 2 years then launched Champaran Satyagrah and then he became famous because of success of satyagrah .
Yes Jinnah was a secular and natioanlist man before 1930 but in 1930s he became biagot because to gane power first in provincial election of 1937 and than call for Pakistan in 1940.
And many people dont hate Gandhi and hate Jinnah because it was Jinaah who called for violance for a seperate nation, the Direct Action Day in 1946, so at one side is a man who called for non violence and another side who called for violence.

Ranveer if u would have read the history books then u would have asked him some basic questions... This man calls Gandhi british agent then the very natural q is then why Gandhi devoted his whole life to overthrow british empire in India...
During his initial phase Gandhi was very impresses by british polity and culture their sense of justice... Soft power... This phase 1893 to 1906 .. In latter phase of his struggle in South Africa 1906-1914 he understood the real nature of british colonial power and invented new techniques of struggle...

    • @Tejasisphoenix
      @Tejasisphoenix 2 роки тому

@@sonidosepicos yes he called on indian people to fight world War 2 ... But u need to understand the context... Despite of our feelings about british empire... During 1940s british empire was the symbol of democracy liberty equality and justice... These very qualities prevented british empire to use force or violence against non violent satyagrahis... British were fighting the nazis which were autocratic and divisive and extremely violent towards people... Gandhi did not exonarate british of their evil deeds but made a choice between lesser evils

    • @Tejasisphoenix
      @Tejasisphoenix 2 роки тому

Had germans Or Japanese won against british and Americans in second World War then democracy as we know it would have ended in the world... When these powers conquered the nation's they openly imdulged in war crimes like rape violence killings looting burning and so on... When war started Gandhi supported british and asked for freedom... But when british did not respond them he lauched quit india movement... He asked very pointed q... How can u asked us fight for freedom when u r denying that to us... Quit india was the fiercest largest and the most violent of all freedom movement after which british realised that it's no longer easy to rule india....
