These young Dutch organists coming forth these days, of whom Jos Maters is one of the brightest stars, continue to astonish me. But I'm truly gratified to see that the fine Art of playing 'the King of Instruments' is alive and well, and will clearly keep going long after you and I are gone! Bravo Jos!
Jos, I think this is the best, most sensible performance of this I have ever heard. So many times organists miss the hints and nuances that the composer was aiming at. Your result here was to make all those ornaments and gestures make dramatic sense. I think Bruhns would have approved.
A very special performance of this magnificent work my maestro Bruhns. The instrument is perfectly suited, the artist is especially talented, and the registrations are superb. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful performance!
You are going to have a bright future. Just remember to be yourself (if you can understand what I am saying). Don't be afraid to improvise too, as that makes for a very distinctive musician. I refuse to believe that a composer would ever fault you for having fun with (their) music. In short, it is my feeling that your are an excellent performer...it is quite obvious that you enjoy what you are doing. So, with that said, I thank you for sharing your talents. I enjoyed this piece VERY much. Great job.
Hi, You play verywell, a good Young artist, continue like that, and you will do You, a nice way to live, with this nice music, friendly Jacques Canada.

Thanks a lot!
Masterly played and registered. Nikolaus Bruhns harmonic structures are so important in European organ history , also for J.S.BAch . Thanks !
Thanks!
Erg smaakvol uitgevoerd. Mooie registratie. Bijzonder dat stukje met die holfluit i.c.m. die praestant 32, wat een enorm diepe grondtoon!

Thank you very much! I'm not that good in improvising, but maybe in future I will be:)
A masterful performance, simply splendid to listen to.
What an amazingly gifted and talented young man!
Straordinario!!!! E' così che ho sempre immaginato debba essere eseguita la musica di Bruhns. Bravissimo: sei un esempio da seguire.

Personally, I think he misses a lot of the piece's angst by rushing the notes. None the less, a great talent.
NAGYON JÓ !
