I keep all my extra gear and my bibs in the truck until June 1st. Nothing worse than getting caught off guard. Makes for a long day. You can never have enough dry gloves either
I got used to single digits last week, its only that way at night. If there is no wind I can take a lot of cold. Today I was in the truck with no heat and the wrong shoes on and it was like 25° and dang one foot got cold! It sure took awhile to warm up. Working the pedals on the skidloader does help keep the blood flowing 🤣
The amount of wind and how active you are makes the biggest difference. Like a lot of think state of mind makes a difference. If you think it's cold you'll be cold.
We have 6 waterers just like yours we have electric at each one put a 40 watt light bulb in a brooder lamp place under fountain heat comes up valve assembly to keep from freezing
I have electric run to to them so I could put heaters in them and have done the light bulb once. That time negative teens were the norm that year and you couldn't keep things from freezing. For the most part the only time they've frozen is if we lost water pressure air could get in there.
Right now just pets. I got plenty of feed might as well feed something to get rid of it. Doesn't seem to be high demand for hay since I've only sold some here and there. Lots of people seem to have hay for sale this year. I've bred a couple but not sure if they settled. I'll find out towards spring. Basically I look at it as money in the bank and eventually start selling them.

Happy new year. Looks kind of nice all white, and some decent moisture.
Thanks.
Snow is better than mud but I'm ready for spring. 😂
What is your plan with the cows you have? R they pregnant? Hopefully they give you some financial return at some point. Have a good day!

@ Doesn’t seem like much of a market for hay anywhere right now. Need to find yourself some beef cows, they like hay!
Holy Crap....
Dood.
