Is there a full review of this game somewhere by Derek? I recall skipping out on FEAR 3 on principle but really enjoying FEAR 2, so after seeing the Quake 4 review which has me considering continuing my years old save on that game from when I got bored with it, I came looking for what Derek may have to say about it and found this. I must say, this looks great. I love the assault rifle's animation, as it looks more polished than the rest.
Also, I must say that Fear 2 is an interesting game, though I do not find it scary anymore because it tries to do new things that ruin its reputation than add to it.

Animations are much better, otherwise I think the weapons in the first game are much better, despite lacking a sniper rifle.

I actually kinda prefer fear 2 weapon designs, as fear 1s just looked rushed (hell most of them didn’t even have proper reload animations)

@@Brapgod Fears reload animations were crap but god it felt satisfying to gun down an enemy with pretty much any gun, benefit of the gunplay being smooth and the sounds being alright
