Hi, Ally! After watching this vlog (almos two weeks ago) I decided to read lonely castle in the mirror, well I just finished it and I'M DEVASTADED ❤️ so so beautiful, I'm still crying, thanks SO MUCH for the recommendation, this book is perfect ❤️❤️❤️
+1 to disliking the trail of perfume/cologne that people leave, it makes me feel like i need to escape that area!!

i also went back to school at 25 after dropping out of college at 21 because of mental health problems, and I loved it. I can totally recommend the experience of being a little older! :D i knew a lot better what i wanted, was more confident to take the opportunities presented to me and was not too concerned about the social pressures of being young and alone in a new city. i also loved the role of being a bit of a reassurance that everything is gonna be alright for the struggling younger ones in my studies and really loved just enjoying both: the focus and structure my age has gifted to me and the bubbliness of being around younger, likeminded, inspiring people :) i am now 28 and currently writing my thesis :) i wish you all the best!

A late comment to this video, but on the off chance you’re still looking for subtle perfumes, i totally recommend making your own from essential oils. Source some GOOD essential oils (there are many misleading that are toxic), and pop as many drops are you desire in a spray bottle (reused or etsy have cute glass ones), with some water or a natural perfume carrier. I use water! Natural, subtle and can be healing depending on the oil property. Also recommend making oil rollers for perfume with drops of essential oil and almond oil. Creative and fun too! 💕

I loved the flash of TFB while showing Rumi's Xrays. My two favorite things Cats and TFB.
I have my mums perfume from the 80s. Opium. And it will always smell like PTA meetings and Christmas dinner. But it stays in the bottle, because back then they produced perfume as if it was hunting season on people with allergies.

sorry for the very late comment, have recently started watching your channel! i dont know if you're still on the hunt for new perfumes - but one brand i always recommend to my friends who don't want anything to strong or too "perfumey" is the brand clean reserve. all their scents are very fresh (they even have one thats mean thats meant to smell like rain!) but very light - I think they're a really good perfume brand for people who don't actually like perfume! hope you've having a good day, and thank you for your videos!

Yay for quality over quantity!! Your channel is one of the cosiest places on the internet, and it's so cute to see all the comments of people just being happy for you :). By the way, about the perfume thing: have you tried scented body creams? They are in general less strong than the actual perfumes. The alternative is: spray the perfume on a scarf, and leave it (maybe even outside) for 20 minutes before you put it on. The perfume will be less strong, and even if it's still too intense, you can just take the scarf off :). I'm HSP AF but scent is the only sensory stimulus that I'm not overly sensitive to... But giiiirl I totally get you, for me loud sounds (even music) are super triggering. I had to buy an extra silent vacuum cleaner because I got panic attacks from vacuuming the damn house :P

I only use Lush perfumes or essential oils. Anything else gives me migraines.
