    I understand it’s meant to be a bit of a chat and a laugh but I think you would get far better ‘tough table challenge’ results if the players were left to do it without being asked questions on every shot.

    • @stevemawer848
      @stevemawer848 Рік тому +12

      The players can choose to ignore the questions while they're down on the shot, though, so they're complicit. They're pros, and know how to focus when they want to.

    • @Correction294
      @Correction294 Рік тому +9

      @@stevemawer848 Wether or not they answer on the shot, it’s still extremely off putting to be getting asked questions while on the shot at all. It’s only polite to respond to the questions while on camera otherwise it comes across as slightly awkward. Im not saying the show should become serious - I’m saying for the benefit of the tough table challenge segment, they should allow the pro to concentrate for a few minutes so that we get to see some more impressive results.

He knows so much about the game and the other players and he is able to get that across here, in a really relaxed matter-of-fact way. Kind of unlikely in the normal media because they're only ever interested in Ronnie's personal life/problems or anything 'controversial'. hopefully he has found his good place now and can just share his wisdom & opinion honestly without being hung out to dry.

      Ronnie could beat 82 on that table if left to just shoot and flow. It wasn't the table, it was Stephen distracting him with well planned questions at opportune moments.
