Glad you enjoyed my game! It's so great to see you play through and get stressed the f*ck out 😅 The full version will indeed have different monsters and play styles, one might even have you going outside the station for a while 😉
Yeah, being stressed out and panicking is an element of this kind of horror, but it's more effective when you have lots of time to work yourself up in your own mind.
Pretty sure igp was playing terrible though. Easily seen sharks which look to be moving in a pattern towards other cameras which can be scared off earlier. He just waits for them to reach their destination
I turned the video off after 10 minutes. The frequency of the attacks combined with how noisy the stupid alarm is, put me off of watching any gameplay. At least it's a demo, hopefully they redesign the alarm.
They really need to tone down the sharks. It's killing the horror and suspense aspects. Cleaning the camera? Shark attack. Replacing the lens? Shark attack. Switching HHDs? Shark attack. Scaring off one Shark? Shark attack. Freaky mermaid banging on the submersible? Don't care. SHARK ATTACK. I'm not even playing, and I want to rage quit.
The sharks to be moving in a pattern to other cameras when seen in other cameras, could be scared of early. Unlimited flares do just scare them off when you see them instead of waiting for them to attach
Yea how many sharks are going by? They would realistically only attack once because they explore with their mouths and wouldn’t like the taste of deep sea camera.
Wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many shark attacks, like to the point where i would've just quit. Being on constant shark alert also makes the other creatures less scary.
Conceptually a great idea but my god man there is no time to take in the atmosphere at all. This is more like a shark screensaver that jams mini games down your throat.
Sharks do tend to attack underwater cables hence the "sharks eat wifi" jokes. As for species of shark it could be any of 'em but the smaller ones shown here (any species aside from great whites) makes sense. @@PawziePup
@@PawziePup In fact, Sharks are well known for attacking underwater cables. Something to do with the electrical fields coming from them, or so some think. It is a known phenomena though the exact reason why is somewhat unclear, likely a mixture of reasons (alongside the electrical field) that plays that part.
@Elmithian Sharks hunt with electricity-sensing organs in their faces, so it's most likely that they attack cables due to mistaking them for food, or because they're incredibly irritating
I'm only 5 minutes in and I'm already getting pissed off at this game. Like can bro get a literal second to chill or become immersed?! This is more of a stress simulator than a horror game.
That’s part of why I think it’s possible that the cameras are not showing the full picture, and are designed to show sharks biting wires instead of whatever you are really doing, also I noticed that the cameras inside aren’t in the same position and angle as the cameras outside
The fact that sharks attack so constantly early on, and then the monsters attack so constantly late in the end really makes things more annoying than unsettling. Especially with how much you see of the monsters. They're much scarier when they're seeming to be smart enough to stay out of your camera. It also doesn't help that they look pretty goofy, and the interior kill cut-scene is very... Unflattering, let's say. I feel like them having necks and such lizard-like heads makes them look kind of look like pretty campy old horror movie costumes. If they stuck more into whale territory, they'd look less like Halloween decorations The fact that they keep introducing new things every time, especially when they're basically all just slight iterations of the same timing mini-game, really makes the experience feel like it drags on for so much longer. Would really help to diversify some things, like making hatch openings and stuff only attempted after they take out the camera that looks at it, to make losing a camera make you vulnerable to a more dangerous type of attack. Maybe have have actual cases of lenses in the pod with you that you have to look over to grab to repair broken ones to have more reasons to look away from the screens to give the monsters chances to actually do more things without being caught point-blank in the camera. You would still know that they're trying to open the hatch and junk from where the noises and visuals are coming from. Just stuff to make the game not seventy-five percent clicking on a camera tube and doing the same basic mechanic but in a different shape. All in all, neat concept, but probably needs to try to level out the scales better between eerie and stressful, because - right now - it's probably about a five to ninety-five split between those two respectively. Constant loud noises and timing mini-games - especially when there's pretty major R.N.G. aspects to the cleaning and H.D.D. ones - can easily become more annoying than tense when over-done. I would say that it's like somebody took all the wrong lessons from F.N.A.F., but most F.N.A.F. games don't have this obnoxious of audio, the better ones (Four and Pizzeria Simulator) let you stew in silence waiting for audio cues a lot, and basically none of them had more than one or two things to baby-sit while juggling the main plate, or had more involved plates. Hope to see this improved by release, could be pretty neat.
You’re basically suggesting changes that would make it a FNAF clone. Layering the danger behind stage failures is clever but rest is just FNAF. The game needs to have its own identity, just because we might not like it… doesn’t make it wrong, it needs space to grow.
@@Alpha_GameDev-wq5cc You can’t just call something a “FNAF clone” for being in the same genre gameplay-wise. It would be like calling every monster-catching game a Pokémon clone just because Pokémon is the most popular one.
i like how this "mermaids" start to figure out the functionality of the POD by the passing of days like learning that by pushing in the cameras they can dissable them, how they can attack the cable conections rater than the cables themselves to break in, figuring out that the hatch can give them acces to the person inside and finally figuring out how to acces the emergency air lock, Heck even more soo that they learned to wait thi'll your co-worker went out to take him after hi's shift.
It would be great if they toned down how frequently they attacked though. With the constant blaring alarm there’s no atmosphere build up and you don’t get to appreciate the game
I absolutely love the concept, but that alarm going off every 10 seconds is so incredibly annoying. It doesn't even make it stressful, it's just annoying.
I know everyone else is saying it too, but man the attacks are too frequent. It doesn't leave any time to really take in the horror. The monster also becomes far less scary because you see it so much
IGP, you can avoid eating alive by the monster at the ending of Day 6, during the evacuation, and being chased by an unknown monster trying to eat you before you reach the surface, click swim at the right time without messing up, and you will see, that even it is the demo :) stay safe bro love you a lot I've been watching your videos more and more stay strong.
"You get to protect our cameras from sharks. You get the intresting job. We're so jealous" while im sure this would be interesting in one way or another i feel like this would get annoying after awhile, especially having to hear that insufferable blaring when the pipes get attacked. But thats just my opinion. Great game all and all
Imagine this game if there was like 1 shark attack every 5-10 minutes... you're just chilling, doing your job and relaxing. Very little outside interference with that relaxation... but that makes all the audio 10x more terrifying.
This is a whole lot of curious sharks! Sharks do bite cables sometimes but it's because they use their mouths to inspect things to determine "is this a food?" I appreciate the different species of sharks and the idea something else could come looming out of the darkness! I hope the attack frequency/intensity gets turned down in at least one mode because I love watching the different animals go by! I love the deep sea, can we have a chill mode for fun? XD
For a game about suspense and horror, they really made this not worth the time with how outrageously frequent the shark attacks were, completely ruined the vibe and the undertone focus of the game, plus how inaccurate the hitbox for the repair segments seems to be. Hope they fix these in future updates.
I could never do this game, I would get so stressed out that i wouldn't be able to juggle any of the tasks, still awesome to see someone develop something like this, but not for me, too many things to comprehend. Great Gameplay as well.
It's insane that THAT was just the demo. I can't wait to see the full game. Maybe it'll chill out some? but the little details of the hand in front of the camera before knowing what it is makes it more horrifying since you can already tell that its not normal or spposede to be there. Not to mention the added alarms of the sharks attacking, which keeps you on your toes.
IGP you and the boys should play nuclear nightmare. It's a game based off the movie the thing. Looks very interesting and I think it would be great to see you and the boys play together

This game is messed up cool. I was wondering if you were going to play it. Almost like Narcosis or Debris meets Observation Duty. Also, IGP, there are two endings. There's also one where you make it to the surface.
9:40-10:00 Wow I can't believe we've gone so long without a shark attack... Damn nothing is even scary. I'm too stressed by the blaring red alarm to be fucking scared by anything. Like ffs can't a guy get a *second* to repair *anything?!* Sheesh! Peak editing btw :)

It's like a mix of the film Underwater and the game fnaf, cool and scary as shit
Well finally, my boy IGP drops a video on a weekend for me 😂
IRON LUNGS IS BACK BABY
Sharks attacking underwater cables is a real thing funnily enough.
Your videos are what’s getting me through work and uni recently!! Keep it up igp!
Middle of the night? Goodbye sleep!
I absolutely adore this game and watching you play it. Please tell us you'll play the full version when it comes out?
31:33 i was wondering whether you can just press multiple times when the area is wider lmao. But you kept doing one by one so I thought it was just that way.
I got anxious just watching this
What kind of "horror" game sets out to make the player more annoyed than scared? Because that's all this game is doing for me.
Airlock, righty tighty, lefty loosy...
Just what I needed when I'm late night raiding my pantry. This game is hella interesting! :o thanks for another great video homie
You got that insom-nom-nom-nom-nia too? 😂
Got an Iglo ad at 40:15 so right when he screamed nit got cut off by a fish stick commercial
1:17 generally, if your employment is terminated it just means you are not working for them anymore
Some jobs however, such as the manhattan project, might give you some form of contract that basically says if you talk you’re gonna get arrested
@@limamastenyes but terminated could also mean killed.
@@bigchooch4434 like the terminator
Nice timing, about to rest but it can wait.
He’s just like me playing scary games. First words “Oh wtf” 😂
I'm loving this video schedule man. You're the best
