If I were her, I would have taken the husband with me, along with a gun. Upon discovering the prisoner, I would have immediately called the cops. Would tell the mom afterwards, and seeing as she actually did know about the prisoner, she can deal with cops and the problem. Her deal, not mine. I'd keep an eye on the situation from afar, but would not involve myself in it, at all.
I'd peep it, just to see if pops was leaving me a dope, secret armory of guns and cool shit.... ya never know lol.

Public Defenders graduated Law School and passed the Bar Exam for their State like every other Lawyer under the sun. They also try far more cases on an annual basis than Private Attorneys, leading to more experienced Public Defenders than their Private Attorney counterparts. You want a really kick ass Lawyer? Find one that spent the better part of their Career in Public Defense before going Private. That's if you can afford it.
The reason many tend to believe that they're "bad lawyers who couldn't work anywhere else" is either because they represent the Poor (something Private Attorneys scoff at), or they represent the undoubtedly Guilty (something a Private Attorney would never do).
Yes, it's true (to some extent) that in more of the major Districts where the average income is lower than the national avg., and the crime rate is higher, that it's not uncommon to find Public Defenders working multiple cases at once, with little time to thoroughly examine the Cases individually.
But to so callously paint all of the individuals in this profession with the same brush...tells me that you wouldn't know the first thing about Public Defense. Tell me, where did you earn your Law Degree?

Thank you for summarizing this movie into an 11 minute review. That's honestly a dumb plot that the dad could've prevented but instead he wanted to test her lawyer skills out and now she's sorry. Now I see why this movie is rated a scooby doo out of an uncontrollable forest fire.

Ya know, one pretty easy fix a rational person would have upon finding a crazy person chained in a bunker would be to call the police immediately.
Prisoner sent to hospital under watch, living family free of blame, blood and prints run in hospital since this guy apparently has no ID, family hears actual identity and comes forward with the allegations, etc
I mean at the end of the day if she had several mansions and jets….even if the case was lost…it’s pretty public so you’re safe…and still pretty rich…and if you WIN you’re rich and the guy is contained in one way or another.

It's madness. Guess he had under 1k for two or three years (only 400 subs 10 months ago, from another comment). The algorithm gods blessed him a few days ago and the insanity ensued. I started watching his videos on Wednesday (~20k subs) and subbed on Thursday (~40k subs) and now it's Saturday (211k subs). How have I just now come across this channel. This is great, im looking for a movie stoned and came across this. Not only do I not want to watch it now, but I also enjoyed being swayed not to. 10 scoobies out of a forest fire

From watching this video it looks like this movie was finished then they took the full file and cut it in half and only released the first half. That ending is the worst ending to a movie I think I've ever seen. There is no resolution then a setup for a 2nd movie and there isn't even a bad ending where the guy kills both of them. It just ends in the middle of a plot twist.
How is it in the middle? The guy's dead. Not much of a middle. There's nowhere to go with it now since the movie's about *him*.
A bad ending would've fit better for this one tbh.
