This video captures the haunting aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, revealing a coastline forever altered. Madeira Beach, once lively, now looks like a war zone with shattered homes and once submerged streets. St. John's Pass, a bustling hub, is almost unrecognizable. Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach face similar fates, their pristine sands marred by uprooted trees and fragmented structures. Sunset Beach and Passe Grill, usually serene, are now scenes of devastation, littered with unimaginable debris. Excellent video showing both hurricanes aftermath devastation of that area of Florida. Your wife needs to be mic’ed. I enjoyed her comments too! You showed what no other news station has done. You asked some excellent questions. I’m also surprised by the absolute and complete no-show of all the realtors appraisers insurance adjusters, and so many more professionals all quiet as a mouse. Where are they? They’re the ones that need to be figuring out all this mess now. I could go on all day. I’m done. Great work!
No words!! The beauty of the water, causing so much destruction. You are correct the news has shown us nothing. I will save my rant for another time lol!! Great video CJ!! Prayers to all in Florida
🥺💔 i think there is SO MUCH to show!! And it does matter!! Individuals actually tell the real story, so you are doing exactly what the media news can't 🤗💝 thank you!!
Thank you, I’m born & raised here 65 years. Nothing in my lifetime, has come remotely close to this. If ever need info about old days, just ask. St.pete is lost to wokeness, hence Tropicana Roof, crane etc… Beach ppl, different worlds from St.pete dn town. Much love & appreciation for your efforts to shine a light. We are devastated.
Wow! Hernando County here. We lost a bunch of trees, none hit the house. We were so lucky. It’s sad to see the destruction our neighbors are experiencing.
Thanks for sharing. I live in Australia, so to see the scale of damage these hurricanes have caused is shocking to me. The recovery will take years. As you said, sourcing building materials and trades people will be a huge problem. I imagine it will be difficult to find electrical appliances as well. Not that they can be used until power is restored and locals have somewhere to live. I feel so sorry for the people who live in these disaster zones. Makes me appreciate living somewhere relatively safe from natural disasters.
your opinion most certainly counts. Its very nice for you to show the real aftermath. I pray everyday that the missing be found, people are taking care of in a timely matter. Its truly a devastating ordeal.
Your videos are so important, and thank you for producing and uploading them. I don't watch the legacy media, instead I watch proper people like you, reporting on what it is really like. I'm in the UK, and have visited the USA more than 40 times. I love your country and your people, and hate to see this happen to you.
Appreciate your video showing everybody. Good job, used to run the hotel on treasure Island called the Sea Chest. I saw it on your video. As far as where they’re taking some of the trash around the Tampa Bay area the fairgrounds is 100% full in the parking lot, full of trash from people’s homes.
I think Tropicana got so much attention because it was originally, and incorrectly reported that it was being used as a staging area for linemen that were there ahead of Milton. There was concerned that they were all trapped inside, but since they were never there, they weren't. There were 13 employees there though, but they were ok.
Thanks for sharing your info on this devastation. I live on the outer banks of NC and remember feeling the same frustration during Sandy that the news never reported how we were devastated our area was and seemed to focus on NJ//NY but I regret feeling that way because it just solidified that WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER and this kind of thing brings a community together. If you guys need essentials please reach out, im sure the good people of America are willing to help. ❤ In NC we are also reeling in devastation and millions of good people have stepped in to take care of our own. Agree that it doesn't feel like enough, or a fast fix, but the sick and elderly have to be a priorityton the agenda, food/h2o definitely as well. Then a clean up and rebuild. I promise everyone will eventually make it through. My prayers are with everyone dealing with this stress, and frightening devastation.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us. My parents owned a unit at Ocean Sands, Madeira Beach. They sold about fifteen years ago? I remember the kids and I staying there during the months of July and August, super hot but a whole lot of fun. I used to walk up to the bird Seabird sanctuary in the mornings. Walk to Winn Dixie but never walked over to the Publix over the causeway, the Super Walmart that opened. Loved visiting the Tampa Zoo and Clearwater Aquarium.
MY GOD, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING. I FEEL FOR ALL THOSE RESIDENTS. HOW AWFUL AND HORRIBLE AN EXPERIENCE TO HAVE TO ENDURE!! MAY GOD ALMIGHTY KEEP THESE FOLKS IN PEACE, AND SOUND MINDS. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO GREAT JOB.
Thanks so much. I lived in Srq and Bradenton over 30 yrs and never seen this kind of devastation. Used to ride up to St. Pete to go to the Hurricane and other places. This is so heartbreaking. I left Bradenton in 2016 and moved to Texas. I knew it was just a matter of time before a big one would hit the Gulf Coast.
Thank you for sharing what's happening in Medeira beach, close to St. Johns Pass, where my folks have or rather now had a place. It's really shocking and sad to see the devastation to such a beautiful community.
Thank you very much for sharing. I just don’t know what we are going to do in Florida. It seems you really can’t build houses so close to the water, unless, of course, it’s a second home. The next problem is what are they going to do with all that garbage….how do we get rid of it? Thanks to people like you, nobody would never have known the magnitude of destruction and devastation. The news media never showed anything like this, and I believe it’s very important for people to see this. We have to use wisdom going forward. This is reinforcing that material things means nothing at the end of the day. Hopefully there was no loss of life in those areas.
Your title says it all. We were waiting for landfall to your south and the news was covering what the water level was like in the Florida panhandle. It was nearly silent about Sarasota and Anna Maria Island as it was making landfall.
TY for showing TI and sunset bch. Lived on Isle of Palms. I also spent a summer as a teen on Pass-A-Grille bch. It is where I found paradise. The shop with the bugs was a friend, a jeweler named Evander Preston. He passed several yrs ago, his store remained open. Amazing high unique jewelry. This places holds so many memories for me. My happy place. You have to go back when it is rebuilt. You will love it. They have music at the beach at sunset almost every night to clap the sunset. Breaks my heart to see it devasted. This is so sad. 😭 💔
These homes and businesses are going to be required to rebuild at certain codes, and they won't be able to afford those upgrades. Private stakeholders will then take over these properties, driving the original inhabitants somewhere else. 🤯
When ppl say its just stuff, forgets that stuff was brought with money they may have had to work hours for. It was something they considered & became part of the home they wanted to build a family in, specific pieces have memories attached to them ie the first chair /table baby stood against & took their first steps from. A door frame thats used to records the growth of their children. PPl needs to realise that stuff is not stuff in a way that is looked at to be destroyed its stuff that records their life. Photos albums, a quilt passed down the family. The furniture chosen by a nely wed couple or a couple that have been together for years.
I remember seeing a video after Hurricane Ian hit Fort Myers all the debris in front of the houses was moved to huge areas outside Fort Myers there was literally mountains of it in the fields and roadside.
I really appreciate your efforts to expose the truth. There are factions that want to hide truth no matter what. My property was completely demolished. The house is OK only because God blew the destruction away from it. My cleanup crew has been AWOL for 2 days, insurance inspector is coming tomorrow. When I ran out of cash they left. I don't blame them. They got me on my feet , but my fence is wrecked and I can't let my dogs out. No flooding here. All wind.
Man, the velocity and power of those hurricanes...for the sand to be where it is..glad to see the truth of the damage..😢poor peeps..i pray Father restores to them their homes and belongings..❤thanks for sharing..

Did you know John’s Pass was created by the terrible gale on September 22, 1848- the Bay and Gulf met and rearranged the real estate in between. I am so saddened & traumatized by the tremendous loss/destruction Helene & Milton left in my Pinellas County. Sunset Beach has/had a Drum Circle every Sunday from 4pm until Sunset & Archibald Park at Maderia Beach is where I celebrate my birthday - I’ve heard that if 49% damage the structure has to be built up to code. I wonder if our Barrier Islands are going to become a FEMA trailer park- im hoping & praying for swift & complete restoration - except for Redington Beach who are currently in Appeals court to keep regular citizens off “their” beach and snotty Belaire Beach who won - let them dig their sandcastles out themselves - but vengeance is for Our Lord, so I’ll recant🥺🙏❤️🐢 ps: TY for content- worthy of Pulitzer Prize. 🏆 I’m grateful ❤
This is horrible, I’m not sure why it matters if the news shows it or not it is what it is.. honestly maybe it’s time to quit building by the ocean in hurricane prone areas.. I really am so sorry for everyone affected by this, it has to be so awful. I don’t know how cities can recover from this.
I knew Charlie Climer who owned St. John’s fish company. We ate at that rickety restaurant there. I’m so sorry this has happened. I’ve donated 5 heaping wagons for survivors. I wish I could do more. I live in the Atlanta suburbs. We were supposed to be in the direct path but God spared us.
I watched your blogs on vintage shopping and enjoyed them so much, but you are a great news reporter and we would never know what actually happened to Florida if you didn’t show us in real time!
This is very sad, I feel it for these people who work so hard to have a place called home. Please be reminded that all those are that are affected belongs to the sea . 🌊 You are in my prayers for recovery.
Thanks for what you’re doing to help. In all seriousness, it’s beyond the scope of “news” now. Expecting continuous coverage and documentation of the destruction is unrealistic.
So very sad😢. My husband and I honeymooned in Madeira Beach and spent our 4th anniversary in Treasure Island. Whenever it gets rebuilt, we will be back. So very heartbreaking to see this much destruction.
I did see a lot of this on various news channels. The garbage wasn’t piled up yet because no one was back yet. It is really devastating to see this damage for the people affected. Homes, businesses, jobs, loss of life. The insurance claims are going to be unbelievable in total.
I'm Vietnamese . I KNOW THE MEDIA WON'T SHOW OR SAY ANYTHING THAT MAKES Democrats LOOK BAD . THE MEDIA TODAY NO LONGER BEING TRUSTED AND RESPECTED . I've stopped watching TV completely WHEN I FOUND the TV NEWS WERE NOT HONEST about the Election in 2020 . I'm VERY HAPPY TO SEE THIS VIDEO . THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME and EFFORTS . I LOVE YOU BOTH . MAY GOD BLESS YOU TWO and THE HURRICANES' VICTIMS .
Madeira Beach is our favorite place. We had reservations for this October 12 th but canceled before the hurricane due to health issues but glad we did. We were there last October and March 😢last year. John’s pass was our favorite spot to shop and meet our friends. So sad.
We native Floridians are all too familiar with this type of destruction. the people that need to see these videos are the ones moving down here and buying these same homes after they have been rebuilt. The difference between a tornado and a Hurricane is how wide spread the damage is, instead of a couple blocks of destroyed homes we are talking hundreds of square miles. you don't fix that in 2 weeks time. it will take months maybe years before it gets back to "normal". I hope lessons will be learned 1) Don't build on barrier islands , plant then with mangroves. 2) Anything in built in a storm surge zone must be built on stilts, almost every one on stilts survived with little to no damage.
Like we care about Tropicana field. I think it got coverage because it belongs to big corporate people. They don't care about the little guy. To show homes and small businesses personalizes it. Since 2020, they've intentionally have been trying to destroy small businesses.
We moved from Redington Beach (1500 block of Gulf Blvd) a year ago July and I just can’t believe my eyes. We are praying for all the families and sending aid when we can. Can you do a video of the beach area of Madeira Beach and Redington Beach too. I’m curious how the back yards look. I was told the pools are all gone and nothing but sand now. So sad.
This is sad 😢 ! We just spent a week in at Madeira beach in May. I pray they can rebuild, but it won’t be quite the same. Devastating for those who lost so much!
Long Beach Island , NJ had similar storm in 1962 which changed all new construction of homes to be on poles. Sooner or later, I see that coming to Florida.
This makes me sick to my stomach. So many lives completely upended. We were just there for vacation a couple years ago.Such a beautiful part of Florida forever changed.First Mexico Beach, then Ft. Myers Beach, now the entire Sun Coast. This has been a bad past few years for the gulf coast of Florida.Praying for all those affected, and especially all those who have lost loved ones. The homes, businesses, and things can eventually be replaced or repaired. This makes me want to vomit.I wish I could unsee this video and certainly wish I could undo all this devastation of such a beautiful place.
I was in Redington Shores. I lost my home and car. My street looked like a war zone. I'm 80 and not in good health. Thank God I had a daughter pick me up 5 days later and take me to Texas. People need to see this. Thank you for all your efforts.
Ive noticed also the blackout in coverage. Its like they are ignoring it because they dont want people there to get help, and so they can cover up the failure to provide assistence to people in their time of need.
One of the bad things is, insurance companies tell you not to do anything until they get an adjuster out to your property. After Ian they told me this. I told them I am getting this stuff out before the mold starts.
The money pinellas county and st petersburg fl has collected from grass code violations and other frivolous codes to taking people's property then selling to developers hopefully now all that money they collected can be put to use...maybe it's also a good idea to put them on notice to clean up the mess or fine them each day then lien their property and then sell it on them just like they do against people every single day

@@lauraC1082 Thanks, Laura.
Thank you for showing us what it really looks like in this area - horrible devastation - prayers continue for all.
🥺💔 i think there is SO MUCH to show!! And it does matter!! Individuals actually tell the real story, so you are doing exactly what the media news can't 🤗💝 thank you!!
Thank you for that kind comment! ❤️
This may be the end of the dream in Florida. If only they hadnt developed it so much and destroyed the mangroves and sand dunes...
Never an end to a dream.
I have really formed a positive opinion of you and your ethics. Your extra effoft to expose the damage is rare and valuable.
People need to be allowed to build simple elevated homes that can easily be cleaned and repaired after hurricanes.
Cement is the answer…no wood
Thank you, I’m born & raised here 65 years. Nothing in my lifetime, has come remotely close to this. If ever need info about old days, just ask. St.pete is lost to wokeness, hence Tropicana Roof, crane etc… Beach ppl, different worlds from St.pete dn town. Much love & appreciation for your efforts to shine a light. We are devastated.
I think Milton got a little help from evil elites (geoenginearing)
What does “wokeness” have to do with anything? Some of you all just spew out random words without knowing their meaning.
Wow! Hernando County here. We lost a bunch of trees, none hit the house. We were so lucky. It’s sad to see the destruction our neighbors are experiencing.
Thanks for your kind comments! Glad y'all are okay or at least okay!
Thank you for showing this , and I subscribed
Thanks for subbing and watching.
Yes your opinion matters and thank you for showing us all of the distructions,
your opinion most certainly counts. Its very nice for you to show the real aftermath. I pray everyday that the missing be found, people are taking care of in a timely matter. Its truly a devastating ordeal.
There is a lot of furniture that don't need to be trash
Your videos are so important, and thank you for producing and uploading them.
I don't watch the legacy media, instead I watch proper people like you, reporting on what it is really like.
I'm in the UK, and have visited the USA more than 40 times. I love your country and your people, and hate to see this happen to you.
Thank you for showing those who don't have these resources to help themselves. And need government help
In NC we are also reeling in devastation and millions of good people have stepped in to take care of our own.
Oh CJ my heart breaks for you all. I have family in Florida, too. Keep strong.

This is awful:( thank you for posting this, sending prayers to all affected.
So sad, thanks for sharing. Prayers 🙏
Thanks so much!
Thank you!
Thank You for showing the Truth!
Prayers from Serbia, The Balkans
Thanks for watching.
not only poor news coverage of damage but no updates on casualty numbers
The 'missing' are thousands 😢
Yeah, there seems to be a void of coverage on Milton aftermath.
Watch out for nails & screws with your tires!! Thank you for doing this because your right the news won't cover this!!
Thank you for sharing what's happening in Medeira beach, close to St. Johns Pass, where my folks have or rather now had a place. It's really shocking and sad to see the devastation to such a beautiful community.
Truly sad!
If the home is substantially damaged, 50% of value or more, then it will have to be elevated and comply with current code.
Thank you for this video. Ohio.
It is very sad.
😢😢😢 it sounds fantastic ! So sorry
All wind.
Look! They are still spraying chemtrails in the sky.
We do not need the media we have you
Have you heard from the governor? Just curious.😊
You have to watch for the contractors too that will take the money and run. So much theft and fraud goes on in these situations too.
I agree with you on that, especially if you are a single woman. Contractors can really take advantage of you.
Tables, chairs, Computer desk, lamps, they still usable. Patio chairs, bed frames
Man, the velocity and power of those hurricanes...for the sand to be where it is..glad to see the truth of the damage..😢poor peeps..i pray Father restores to them their homes and belongings..❤thanks for sharing..
Horrendous MESS!
This is why, we as Americans are working as slaves, why? Everything you work will be taken from you one day. Mother Nature, job loss, inflation. What is the point? We have hope, that is the only we work for. That dangling carrot in the distance you work so hard, you achieve success and then it’s taken from you
They are not allowed to say too much about what's going on. I know they would love to. The good news people anyway. So thank God for people like you. You can get by with it. Now im talking about the news you tubers. The ones on TV that's another thing! But thank you soooo much for letting us see what's going on. I appreciate it so much!!
There are NO good news people. They even lie when they don't need to.
Thank you CJ for this video. I've been watching them since you were driving to Texas. I was praying for you to leave. My prayers go out to everyone there. Stay safe 🙏❤❤❤
Sorry for losing their homes but I’m so glad I’m to poor to live next to beach ❤
Oh my lord! This is horrible!!❤❤ So very sorry for y'all , lots of love and luck your way!
I m norwegian. And we Do saw a Drone the Day afterThe Hurricane from This plase. It was just like too see from a War sone in Gaza.Belive me, it s much worser or from the News from ther. They dont want too show Americanos everything. And I dont laing. I say it just the way MY Eyes SEE.....It will take years for to clean everything up. Have pray for u All..🙏🏻...From Norway🇳🇴
I spend some time.,reviewing your survey of disasterous crisis..I feel for people who have suffered in this lost...just the memories and things pile up at every curbside,,,I hope future planners and designers..get better insight into ecological and marine biology., necessary adjustment to build these communities with more safeguards..hope I am not offending anyone.,, hour of needs..,thank you for your service... bringing public attention awareness... Florida..
Does the government still want the property tax on 1/4 value homes
We are just getting our power on.
This is horrible, I’m not sure why it matters if the news shows it or not it is what it is.. honestly maybe it’s time to quit building by the ocean in hurricane prone areas.. I really am so sorry for everyone affected by this, it has to be so awful. I don’t know how cities can recover from this.
Where do you begin and end in this nightmare! Lord I can't even imagine so sorry😢
Thank you!
Your friend is trying to rebuild his house there! So heartbreaking! Thank you for the coverage
Thank you ...your video was informative
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, Governor Desantis is a Republican.
I hope lessons will be learned
1) Don't build on barrier islands , plant then with mangroves.
2) Anything in built in a storm surge zone must be built on stilts, almost every one on stilts survived with little to no damage.
So bloody heartbreaking..devistation as far as the eye can see...quit the war budget for a month and get these folks sorted...
Where are the people?
Long Beach Island , NJ had similar storm in 1962 which changed all new construction of homes to be on poles. Sooner or later, I see that coming to Florida.
i feel bad for all the people who lost their main residence aka home and business
@@luciabrunney3872 I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you will be okay.
The news did not show this kind of destruction from the hurricane on the air!!!
This was my hangout and places we'd take company visiting. I'm praying for this area. I hope they get the help they need.
Ive noticed also the blackout in coverage. Its like they are ignoring it because they dont want people there to get help, and so they can cover up the failure to provide assistence to people in their time of need.
Oh my goodness. You need help.
The news are not allowed To go Into any where without Permission From the Government And local authorities
😮😮😮😮
Thankful we still have a house.
This just breaks my heart seeing how Destroyed the area is.
I lived at Readington Shore's in the three towers on Gulf Blvd
Hope you are safe!
One of the bad things is, insurance companies tell you not to do anything until they get an adjuster out to your property.
After Ian they told me this. I told them I am getting this stuff out before the mold starts.
shame on them for not showing this AND Manasota Key!! It’s all TAMPA TAMPA TAMPA
