the only reason we have main menus in the demos and all of these menus is probably due to me originally doing menus in carbons demo. its funny how things turn out

they were in the ps2 demo but most didnt work because the ps2 demo was highly stripped. however formats are the same between games and consoles (except for models and textures) so porting was easy

2:15 notice how the rotating gimbal thingy keeps rotating while the car isn't rotating in 'freeview' that's a small oversight if it's like this in the retail version

might want to try revisiting this with the Xtended Input mod as it fixes the missing button prompts
the code in the statemanagers for the menu in the final doesn't include the functions that are required for the debug stuff
@@Speedyheart it does fix the apperance of certain menus though
for example I actually got text showing in the showcase FNG (albeit all unlocalized)

Żmudson Wariat theoretically it works with drag and drop. but the pc sounds overall are slightly better i think (in quality...) i could try and use the beta turbo sound though
+Speedyheart Most of Cars sounds indentical as in MW. Lancer have same exhaust as in UG2 and MW.

reputation is in the base game but you never see it (its used to unlock races. you gain 1000 for each boss + 100 races i think)

Kamigami no Mai at the moment yes. but im doing lots of advanced stuff daily now that nobody else has done so i might accidentally find out how to add it as a short cut to any menu and make it work :p

Why are do lights and smoke look so...strange in your recordings here?
because in globalb there is an uncompressed fng that is also marked in the .exe with a specific size. when I put these menus in it changed the size of the file and broke the offset in the .exe? which tells the game how large the uncompressed fng is. since the offset was broke the textures were offset. this ranged from being moved over to the right to being entirely "rave particles" as you see in the video(I think anyway. I found a way to work around the entire globalB so I don't have to worry about this :v)

yeah you can. i actually run my game with the world 09 pause menu + beta loading screens + beta quick race track select. all painted white with SAT EDITOR by nlgzrgn

il be releasing the NFSC / MW / UNDERGROUND2 menus at the same time. although they will be buggy at first, i will aim to patch them up to a state where the games are playable.
