  • This is pretty much the final build for my ski. Planning to backflip it off of a v wake. Almost everyone thinks it's impossible to flip a 650sx but trying to be the first to prove everyone wrong. Most of the build is on the 650sx brotherhood so u can check that out if u want

Hey I just bought a 91 Kawasaki 650sx with West Coast pipe, blue Sudoku carb flame arrestor , west coast intake grate ride plate new stator and Bendix. What else would I need to do to my ski for it to be backflip worthy? Thanks in advance.

Mik3y_ Mike, you are going to need to do a decent amount of work. Will need foot holds or straps, shorten the hull and pole a few inches, a low pitched prop, a big ass wave and lots of riding experience.

Dude thanks for such a fast reply 🤘🏼What ski would be more ideal for that style of riding?

Mik3y_ Mike, for flips and tricks an aftermarket haul is best. But they are quite expensive and usually require a lot of work to maintain. A 650sx is a great ski to progress on and really learn how to ride.

Is the x2 trim system hard and how did you remove the impeller

Colby Zern, it is just the reduction nozzle assembly. So it’s just four bolts

was the cable hard to install and does it leak

Colby Zern, if u delete the oem water siphon u can run the cable through that tube and use silicone. Then just run an electric bilige

Kyle Piekarski ok and where did you get the cable from

Colby Zern, you can use a bicycle cable from a bike shop but they tend to stretch. I upgraded to a blowsion trim cable for a super jet.

Not to be rude but your setting your self up for failure. Most defiantly not enough pump and hp for the weight of your old 650. Maybe sell it and get an older rn superjet? Do a -5 and then try
