she's clearly singing over the track... in the song they used effects on her voice, if she sings the song with raw vocals people say she's bad but when she sings it with the edited voice as the backing vocals people still complain, PEOPLE JUST WANT TO TALK BULLSHIT ABOUT EVERYTHING

As a long time Charli fan, this is one of the few rare times where she sounded great throughout a song. Granted it was a backing track. but you can clearly tell she sang it live. She's very comfortable here.

With a lot of live performances these days, I wonder about the blend of pre-recorded tracks and live singing/playing. Obviously there are pre-recorded elements here, but she also seems to be singing live. The guy in the back probably played live percussion, but he may have been pretending with the other stuff? I don't know. It's harder to tell with electronic music. When people actual old-school instruments, it is easy to tell whether they are actually playing or not. With this stuff, it could be 100% miming, and I might not be able to tell.
