I’m confused 1999 and her older material was super successful. It’s weird how the world’s perspective has shifted. I remember Charli being really popular when I was in high school but it’s great to see her still being popular
From practically self-financing Pop 2 to everyone in the industry wanting a piece of Brat. I couldn't be more proud and amazed by this woman's artistry.
It's just wild for us long time Charli stans seeing the level she's reached today. She undoubtedly had one of the biggest breakthroughs of the year- or decade even. You can see how overwhelming it must be. But wow what a moment for her. So amazing.

She's milennial but almost Gen Z bc Millenials were born between 1980 and 1994, Gen Z were born between 1995 and 2009/10. So some people in their 40s are Milennials and she's obly 32... She was born in 1992, so almost a Gen Z, 2 years only. That's why she has a lot in common with Gen Z (more than with older Millenials). And thats why she makes albums like Brat

Gosh her cadence, timing and intonation is always just so naturally hilarious. I have no doubt she'l be a fantastic actress. She is one of the most thoughtful and eloquent people in music. Someone who is so deeply IN it, able and eager to really communicate these lesser-spoken-about ideas and be so forthcoming about it. Always a joy to hear her speak.
Its hard to call her thoughtful when she platforms matt healy and dedicates an entire song to a woman who recently used dummies dressed as Palestinians as target practice (mean girls is about dasha)

Rarely watch interviews of my favs but I watched this almost an hour long video in its entirety and I definitely enjoyed it. Honestly love the way she thinks. Her passion for her craft + her wisdom + her authenticity + her humility really set her apart from the rest of the pop girls. I’ve grown to really adore her these past few years. Brat was and still is everything to me and I’m so happy for the success she’s gotten with it even if it may or may not last beyond it. I absolutely cannot wait to hear this remix album. She is truly a one of a kind artist…
the way this interview happened at my job, i’ve laid out on that couch, touched the glasses and mug they’re drinking from, swept the floors around them. i’m so sad i wasn’t there that day but so proud of her. she deserves everything that’s come to her and it’s been a long time coming. 💚

Man, I saw an ad at a train station in London and thought I’d have to give this album a listen. Then when it was out I had to listen to it a few times to kind of get into it because it sounded to foreign, if that makes sense. At that time I realised that it felt like Charli’s music now finally takes off greatly and that I’ve been listening to her music for such a long time I hadn’t even in mind. And having seen all the content about live performances I have been wondering how she’s feeling with all the partying - got my answer, haha! Everything else in this interview is also so interesting, including how the packaging for the album came to be, also the, it feels like, spontaneity of it all. Thank you for this interview! 😀

Ngl I wasn’t the biggest fan of her since last year (when she was announced as one of the artists in the Barbie soundtrack). But I was always surrounded by aggressive day one Charli stans and so I’m very familiar with her music but not as much as them. This album however made me an aggressive Charli stan myself lol. brat is already my 6th most streamed album of all time and it hasn’t been 6 months since it was released.
