Fun Fact: In the European Spanish version of Netflix, the description of Golden Wind Episode 39 erroneously refers to Scolippi as a woman (una usuaria de Stand llamada). However the error is not present in the episode's subtitles.
I found it kinda neat that Iggy and Stardust Crusaders are not named after David Bowie's stage character "Ziggy Stardust" after all the David Bowie reference in the series
...cheating in Japan is THAT common? I mean not leaving someone for someone else, but an affair. Also, Japanese people like hands that much? I thought feet was the strange fetish to have, with Yoshikage Kira being an oddball with his hand fetish, but that just makes Kira not seem so weird if "many" Japanese share his fetish.
They have a different view on relationships and marriage in Japan. Marriage is more about social expectation and economy than love. Many do still marry out of love, of course, but in general they're very traditional in that you need to get married in your early 20's and have a child (and if you're a woman, you're expected to give up your career and stay home) even if you don't love your partner. It's all about getting that financial security and societal status, very few women wants to be above 30 and unmarried in Japan. And when the marriage is lacking love, it's common for people to find that love elsewhere.
