      Thanks for the feedback Dan and glad that you were able to learn a bunch about your Explorer from this video! Let me know if there's anything I may have missed or info that you might want to see on an upcoming video for the Explorer

      Thanks for the feedback Steve! Glad this video helped you make the choice to pick one up. Any way you can send me a pic of the button you're talking about?

    Is there an option to close the exterior mirrors with the key fob automatically? Thanks for the great Video

      Appreciate that! My newer reviews are definitely better on the audio and video side of things haha! Power folding mirrors aren't available on the XLT trim level unfortunately

    Very good review. Let me get this straight, the only way to get to the 3rd row seat is to go between the middle of the captain's seats? Mine have a wide cup holder in between the seats.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  4 роки тому

      Thanks Kev! You can also slide the seat forward to get access to the back. I just find it way easier to step over the cupholders

    • @kingcc2
      @kingcc2 4 роки тому

      @@CarsWithSteve Thanks, but when I slide the seat forward, it doesn't seem like it's enough room to get back there. Idk. I'll try again. Thanks for your help.

      @@kingcc2 If you look near the left shoulder of the 2nd row passenger seat (driver's side of the vehicle) there's a lever by the headrest. That will allow you to move the chair forward more than just using the slider under the seat!

    I purchased my 2020 3 days ago and I literally sat in my new vehicle and watch your video. Thanks because I learned alot... the only thing I'm still tryin to figure out, do it suppose to alert me when anyone not wearin a seat belt because I drove my vehicle with my seat belt off and it hasn't alert me or hasnt made any noise. Is this normal?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  7 місяців тому +1

      Glad the video helpead you out! It should set off a noise if the 1st row seats aren't fastened properly but not the rear seats. Definitely not normal but it can actually be turned on/off
      To turn the feature on/off: make sure the parking brake is set, you're in park, the ignition is off, all doors are closed and the 1st row driver/passenger seatbelts are unbuckled. After that:
      1. Turn on the ignition without starting the car (don't press the brake pedal)
      2. Once the seatbelt warning lamp turns off (after 30-60 seconds) immediately buckle and then unbuckle the seatbelt three times, making sure you're unbuckled after the 3rd time (the warning lamp should turn on). When the lamp turns back on, buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt

      Surprisingly don't try hard braking when I shoot these videos. I should probably add that part in

    Having trouble with the transmission in my 2020 Ford Explorer XLT. It hesitates, then jerks, sometimes holding on to a higher gear when it should downshift. Any Ideas or comments?

      Hey Michael, never good to hear when people are having issues with a vehicle... That question is better suited for a Ford Service Technician so I'd recommend taking it back to your selling dealer. The issue may be something covered under the Ford new vehicle warranty!
      If you aren't comfortable taking it back to them, look at reviews for other dealers in your area. Don't forget that your vehicle does not need to be serviced at the selling dealer!

    How are the blind spots

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  4 місяці тому

      Not bad at all. The pillar by the driver seat takes up a bit, but it's still visible. The blind spot monitoring system is useful though just to be sure
