Thanks for this video! I am a DSW candidate at Penn. I am in my dissertation year currently. I am so grateful for my DSW journey. I have grown so much as a clinician and the degree has already opened doors for me even though I have not graduated. I am excited that their is continued growth for the DSW degree and preliminary accreditation. I hope this has a positive influence on career trajectories and pay for DSW graduates also.

Wow, I’m so grateful I came across your video because I’m about to graduate with my BA in Psychology and have been stuck between pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Master’s in Social Work but after watching your SW video I decided that route was best for me. Then, I started to research if a PsyD or PHD in psychology or DSW would be best for me and after watching this video…DSW is definitely best for me because it opens up a variety of opportunities, which is what I love because I never liked to be put into a box. Great video. I'm currently searching for a program. One thing that we have to be honest about it that the DSW appears to be an easier route to go. I do think the Ph.D is the gold standard and is seen as a higher achievement..Thoughts?
