Wow. I cannot describe how happy I am that I've stumbled upon your channel. I lived with My schizophrenic uncle for many years. He had his first episode if psychosis in his late teenage years I believe. Now he's close to 50. But gosh you are an inspiration. To Be able to live with what you live with... I can never understand directly but I have seen many of my uncles episodes and I can't imagine it's very easy to cope with. But you sound like you have a great way of coping and you seem like you are living your best life. Amazing!!
I have 2 questions for you that maybe you could address in another video if you need some ideas!
    1) does smoking weed or drinking alcohol bring out symptoms.. suppress them? Not condoning it at all just curious. When I lived with my uncle I was a teenager and I would sometimes see him trying to sneak a beer.. or trying to score some weed. Just curious if you have ever done either and how it effects you?
    2) do you think there's anything positive in your life that's come from being schizophrenic? For instance, meeting new people, learning to be open and vulnerable with people, maybe prioritizing your health moreso than you would if you didn't have schizophrenia?

i had similar to this guy but not the same thing exactly and drinking alcohol seemed to help honestly having some good quality wine but might have to do with my beliefs and my genetics i thought maybe psychosis from weed might have caused the schizo symptoms in the first place but am no longer sure about that and havent smoked again since

i had some simular sickness i think mainly from lack of sleep and lack of food fasting and i thought possible psychosis from lots of weed but mainly marinating in negative emotions in isolation sadness and guilt and voices and hallucinations happened all the voices are not worth believing I've healed lots and am doing way better hope the same for you dont beleive the dillusions or illusions and purify and heal the brain stay positive is really good and push away all that dark crap for you it seemed voices said they are spies but for me i was hearing they are god or devils or angels or even voice of loved ones but its all crap worth turning away from as much as possible and healing and being productive even meditating certain ways has helped me when more relaxed and positive when i got a job and focused on my work it started to heal way better voices came up trying to say my job is evil and all this stuff but i was able to prove it false garbage hope sharing this helps someone

For some reason showers ALWAYS trigger my hallucinations. When I went over to my parents house I was hearing up town girl playing in a high pitch voice and a man explaining a grocery store to me. My first hallucination ever I was like 3 and a yellow triangle was in bed with me saying mean things

Thanks for your videos! You mentioned being on two antipsychotics and two mood stabilisers, would you think that schizoaffective (rather than schizophrenia) would be a more accurate diagnosis? Just curious, because you mention a lot of times about being depressed...

All the strides medicine has taken, its sad and disappointing that psychiatric treatment is still pretty much a game of guess and check. You tell the doctor what youre experiencing and they try a pill and if it doesn't work they stop it and try something else,,or a cocktail of meds. There needs to be more studies done about the chemicals in the brain and how the brain is firing compared to the hallucinations or levels of delusions to see if there is a correlation that can be made there by finding a better way to treat the different types of schizophrenia and the other psychiatric disorders. Even depression and anxiety, same thing. Guess and check. But its not like that in any other form of medical care. High blood pressure, betta blocker. High cholesterol, boom, statin . Diabetes,,well,,, there's a lot to pick from but they know what to do.

Have you tired looking to God for help during an episode? Whenever I have an episode of psychosis I find God to be really helpful and grounding. You should try praying sometime if you don’t already :)
