I wish all the Africans who migrated to South Africa since 1995 had the same spirit of humanity and respect for South Africa and South Africans like you guys!
@mbusosiera1648 Thank you and thanks for watching
Wow thank you to Kefilwe's family for manifesting the spirit of South Africa "Ubuntu" to our Kenyan visitors, this means a lot especially with this well marketed misconception that South Africans are Xenophobic. So for that we thank you and your family.
I am from South Africa many people are not being to South Africa or have have their agenda will paint South Africa as a Xenophobia country that is true we are loving people and peaceful people.
@@hlulanithetsongaprince true
@antipasmasekwameng6440 Kefilwe and his family are Godsent. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. Thank you for watching.
@@LIVKENYA The majority of South Africa are like that hey we are very welcoming nations I'm happy you were able to come to our country and show case the beauty of our country. Thank you positive vibes always and much love 😘😘😘
Guys, the SGR is the rail, the track on which the train runs. It is the modern standard width of railway track, as opposed to the narrower track/railway used by the old KR trains. Thr narrower track has less load and speed capacity. It is not a type of train. The trains on Kenya's SGR are old-technology diesel-electric locomotives which means that a diesel engine generates electricity to run the locomotive. The electric train in South Africa also runs on an SGR but it's powered by electricity, the overhead mains electricity
Noted, Thanks for watching.
What happens when there is a blackout?
Mostly they have a separate grid differently from the national grid @@emmahmuturi8903
@@emmahmuturi8903it uses reserved
@@emmahmuturi8903 When you have an electric train, you deducate a line to it plus an alternative so that cases of blackouts don't exist. The world over, electric trains use the mains supply for power
No one is mentioning how Subaru has been reliable during this trip😊
I'm a South African but First time seeing Bloemfontein here on your channel, you guys, you are so amazing, you doing a very good job, and you know SA our more than us.
Welcome aboard! Go and see your beautiful country
We don't sleep early,
We value resting and having time with families and connect to life than always working...
You know moes....
Am glad am here once again to support you my people.
To Your SA family, i am glad humanity exists. We should live like what i have just seen.
Generosity, welcoming, kidness is who i am, i am glad you met people who took care of you even though you are not related by blood, but you are related as human beings and as black people.
Get well soon to Patrick.
Yes humanity exists and they treated us really good. Great full 🙏🏾 thanks for watching
Nice episode. Big up to Kefilwe and His wife for hosting you guys. That was very sweet. LOL the temptation to shop is always hard to resist. Hopefully next you will have a larger car. Just want to congratulate you ladies (and the gents) for vlogging so consistently throughout your journey. Its been a blast.. So far so good..
Thank you so much ☺️ yes they welcomed us and treated us as family. Shopping is a big problem for us girls 😂😂
Great content. Karibuni Mzansi. It’s wonderful to have fellow Africans visit. I encourage my people to visit Kenya (and other East African countries). Warm people, beautiful places of interest and good food.
Thank you and you are all welcomed to visit Kenya
Wasn't expecting this episode to drop so soon, I'm super EXCITED! 😅
Hope you enjoyed it!
We 🇰🇪 Kenyans are very happy that the South Africans treated you so well.this is the spirit of Ubuntu.
They treated us 😊 good
The narrator is always on point, she's very articulate, charismatic and good communication skills 👏 her smile is infectious that can light a dark room. From south Africa 🇿🇦 to the world 🌎 kudos 👏
Thank you and thanks for watching, Duncan
Next road-trip should be from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪 to Cairo Egypt 🇪🇬
Amen, Maybe one day it will happen
Ethiopia next
Nah, leave the Arab countries in the North of Africa alone. They do not want anything to do with Black Africans. You see them protesting black actors in movies showcasing historical figures. You see their treatment of Blacks in those countries. Those people enslaved your ancestors for more than a thousand years. Stay far away from them. Thanks goodness, the Sahara keep you apart.
War in Ethiopia and Sudan 😅
@@cliffager That also came into my mind too and then I thought of Nairobi to Lagos road trip then I wondered if it is safe in DRC
Guys that's not a River, it's a canal designed for rain water
That is impressive!!Thank you for the insight, Ezzy
I hope that settles the xenophobia issue this is who we are 🎉❤
The cameras you went under are actually tolls, those cameras will record the car number plate, then you have to pay at the end of the month😊
Now I know thought they were speed cameras
@@LIVKENYAunfortunately u do that a lot, next time say "I assume" we love yo channel and we learn a lot. Happy new year.
@@LIVKENYA they are called etolls my dear. You get them in developed economies in the world. In Africa, I think SA is the only one that has etolls.
There is a plan to make them cameras, the same way u explained in the video..at the moment they r etolls but the citizens r against them because of being expensive and the government will scrape them soon, since majority they don't want to pay.
The Stadium behind you is the home ground for the Cheetahs Rugby Team. Next to it is the Cricket grounds. Cheetahs are plays very good Rugby. Ox Nche Prop for the Springboks use to play for the Cheetahs. He now plays for the Sharks. Sharks lost again today against the Lions from Gauteng. These teams mentioned are Provincial teams.
Nice 👍🏼 thanks for sharing

Liv has the funniest laugh 😅 keep laughing.. blessings to the team 🙏

Big up guys
Epic episodes
There is no day that ends without me coming here.As a new youtuber, you inspire me to keep moving .And i kind of didn't get enough of Botswana from you people 😊
Glad this inspires you. All the best and thanks for watching
Whatever I have seen in this video is just a pinch of beauty that the “city of Roses offers” I wish I knew about this trip way before, I would have taken you around the city so as to know why people aren’t in town, anyways, in Bloemfontein people mostly do their businesses around their locations and you will never miss a mall or two that offers everything you need within a distance suitable for you in all locations within the City. One thing you need to know is that in most locations the houses look the same(by this I mean same architecture can both be found in high end suburbs and and in low end areas including middle class group) The only thing that differs is the location they are situated in. Huku hakuna ushago, where you stay is the place you build your home till death do you part. Everyone is hurried in a cemetery. There are so many things to know that cannot be typed here in summary especially how different the South African culture is in comparison to other African countries.
Take me around boss
Wow thanks for this insight I appreciate all the info shared. I will be back to learn more. Thank you 🙏🏾
Still don't understand why there are so few people in town.
I always tell guys living in 254 is expensive in that the average Kenyan working in any town rents a house for all his working life and builds a home upcountry as well. The more affluent rent around big cities, buy a plot and build in the outskirts and still build a home upcountry.
Congrats to our able team, this is very nice insight.
Liv Kenya, as a travel enthusiast am always enjoying each of your episodes, NOTE! Everything in Johannesburg is very fast, driving cars to everything lifestyle. South Africans are generally very loving and good people besides what we are portrayed, Awaiting for the Lesotho episode. Happy Travels.
Thank you. I am glad you enjoy these episodes. Jo'burg is indeed fast-paced. We were blessed to have met some of the kindest people across SA.
We are good people in SA, I want a new family too in Kenya❤

I like that your narrative has changed on how u perceived SA before coming..U were talking Xenophobia and crime..
Thanks Bro Kefilwe for treating our fellow Africans with such hospitality!

Good
Bloemfontein is near Lesotho and Gauteng is the Province in which both Pretoria and J'berg are situated
I studied in the university of Free State, you also took me down memory lane through bloem, I live in joburg now
Send my regards to your crue and enjoy bloemfonten.
Iam following your journey from day 1
Will say hi 👋🏾 thanks for watching
I'm really enjoying your trip so much fellow Africans. Love you lots ❤❤❤❤❤
Love you right back, Gladys. Thank you for watching
the weather today was on point lmaoo no more freezing
Yes finally ..😆
Hope you invited that nice family to Kenya
Definitely, they will come
Bloemfontein, Free state province
We would love to see soweto if you happen to pass by it
i think i love the slogan, " we always figure things out"
👍🏼 yes thank you 🙏🏾 😊
Welcome to South Africa one thing I can tell you is that is how we are in South Africa we love and are welcoming nations. You only have to be in South Africa to understand
Thank you. We interacted with amazing people.
You are now in my Province. Free State Province. I am staying 160 km North in Welkom where the Goldmines are.
That’s awesome hope you enjoyed the episode
The channel that you saw in Bloemfontein is not a river. It is actually a drainage system that helps to drain the water out of the city during heavy rain seasons. It must always remain dry because it channels the water out of the city to the stream.
Noted and thanks for watching
Trip to SA is on my backet list this year
Go for it
Bloemfontein streets are very neat. Beautiful city. I'm so exicited for your trip to Lesotho.
@freedomm I beg to differ. Bloem streets have been deteriorating without maintenance for some time now. Everytime I drive through the streets I get so angry with what the anc has reduced some of these cities to. Bloem streets used to be so sparkling clean with neat pavements/sidewalks. And i'm choosing my words with frustration here. The Free State premieres, especially these last two, have been the worst. 😡😡😡😡
@peleqetelo8734 Yes, Free State roads are such a horror to drive on😭😭 They are worse in smaller towns
@lebo5281 And to think they used to be top notch. I used to prefer to drive through them at night than day. You'd never come across a single pot hole. We never had to think about N1 to drive from Lesotho to Gauteng.
Bloemfontein is in Free State
I wish I saw this earlier you could have brought me dera na leso😅
Many people will be inspired by what you have achieved i.e. distance travelled and the preparedness.
Thank you. I hope they will be inspired to transverse Africa and beyond.
Lots of love to all of you my Guys ❤❤you are so brave❤🔥❤️ and welcome to the beloved country R S A🇿🇦🇿🇦
Thank you so much for the love and support, Eunice.
I am planning a road trip to South Africa soon, would you @Liz be willing to guide me more closely.

Hi @Liv Kenya, what a wonderful travel story I had been following from episode 1 and got side tracked now I am back and binging this wonderful content! I almost feel like I am part of the trip with you guys! This honestly is inspirational. This is a realization that it is possible that Africa with its challenges is safe and we should aim to visit each other. Let’s forget about Europe a bit and drive tourism within Africa by Africans!!!
Hello, Kagiso. Thank you so much for your kind words and for following this journey. Africa has a lot to offer indeed.

Bloemfontein is one of the oldest city in South Africa.

The reason why u saw a lot of soldiers around Bloemfontein, is because Bloemfontein have one of the largest amy base in South Africa
