Such a pleasure seeing this 30 years after the event. Great band, but Mike and Sean were on another level as guitarists at that time, both in their composing and playing. They both deserve more credit than they have in metal's history
Last I heard I believe he started a landscaping company?! He probably got tired of making little to no money playing extremely technical and demanding music lol.
Incredible band. Mike and Sean are killer guitarists. Mike Davis in particular. Dude is out of this world great. His sweep picking is outer space level.
The Key is such a masterpiece, amazing to see these songs played live, the one on keyboards doesn't get enough credit, his symphonic stuff is what makes The Key great
Awesome show! The live performance of Arctic Crypt has a proper ending, much better than the studio version. Thanks for sharing a very enjoyable piece of Nocturnus history.
I've thought this before. His technical skill is through the roof and I always thought it was a bit confusing how nobody mentions him at all. Mike is of course the insane beast he is but Sean is seriously amazing too. People either act like he doesn't exist or he is only a rhythm guitarist. I wonder why?

Sean's are more melodic, I think. Davis is a bit flashier.
@@evilevie87 same thing with cynic. When it comes to focus, people always mention paul but forget about jason, who wrote great amount of material to the album
Maaan... Arctic Crypt's ending IS SOOO MUCH BETTER than on their album! Oh maan how I want this track in studio, I wish some supertalented modern metal band like... Finntroll maybe? Or Jungle Rot? Or even Metallica has made a proper cover on it with that beautiful ending!
maurismind No its the youtube effect that is supposed to stabilise handheld video, an option given to anyone who uploads a video. Uploader just click it then don't seem to notice the whole video bending and warping. The worst cases are when you see it applied to vertically-filmed video and the frame wobbles all over the place.
To see these guys actually pull off live what they recorded...what an amazing band.
totally , madman the guitarists
Severely underrated and overlooked band, especially this album and period!

Mike Davis and his solos were some of the best things that ever happened in metal music
I don't understand why the camera guy don't focus on Guitars when they are soloing :'(

18:26-18:47 That was sick! Mike Davis is a monster guitar player too bad he is nowhere to be seen those days.
Such a waste of a talent!

Ah quel beau souvenir, j'aimerais tant y retourner, qu'est ce qu'il était magnifique ce concert, Mike Davis, inoubliable à jamais
pure metal genius
great concert, genial set list from total amazing albums: The Key and Thresholds:)
Помню их первый альбом,онтогда для Дэс металла звучал необычно.
C'est la meilleure prestation scénique que mes yeux ont pu voir...🤘🤘

This band was so fucking good.
Amazing stuff, Mike Davis is such an incredible guitarist. I only wish this video had Mike Browning on vocals! 😈

I have uploaded the whole concert on my channel in HD quality directly from the mastertape

How on Earth (or in this galaxy) have I been misguided enough to miss that concert? 😞
Thanks for sharing this! Very good sound and video! Merci beaucoup! Pour une fois une vidéo qui ne te donne pas la nausée en 2 minutes.

Sean's solos are at least as good as Mike's. Great upload, thanks!

Some of their leads remind me of So Far, So Good, So What era Megadeth.
