I have the same situation, but I lost my dad 5 years ago. 3 days ago I found his old CDs with the music he listened to back in the 2000s. There was a lot of metal, and among them this song was my favorite. Yesterday I cried for the first time in 4 years, and I cried to this song because it is now too strongly associated with my father. Now I want to learn it

It's such a shame, you couldn't see me, while I tried to follow your wonderful tutorial! I was laughing of joy and relief, because I was able to play and sing 'Through the glass'! And it sounded sooo cool!! I'm a singer in a Duo and also on stage. Since years I tried to play guitar, but always gave up on it after half an hour, because I never got over the basic chords and it wasn't very satisfying. Well and at least, I had a wonderful guitarist. So there was no need for practicing harder - and guitar teachers scared me off more, than they helped me with playing the music I liked. But I really really wanted to be able to play and sing this great song on my own! You opend a new world to me! The way you have the tuning, the tabs, the view on your hands in this video answers every question. Thanx so much! 😊
