I absolutely love this song, beautifully simple and haunting much like “Nutshell”. Please allow me to help you build that Stone Sour list with “Bother”.
thanks for the help Chris :)
4:13 nice explanation and instruction of harmonics.
Extra points for wrapping some beaver around your neck.
why thank you Erik :)
I couldn't quite figure out who you reminded me of, but now I know. You remind me of Ryan Reynolds!!
yeah but, if my name was Hulk would I remind you of Hulk Hogan? I have the hair...
A most prolific teacher! Great work!

Absolutely phenomenal lesson as usual.
Sick guitar btw.

Almost!!! Thank you Sam :) I truly never thought I'd get past 6...
What a legendary guitar for a legendary player teaching us a legendary song! Thanks Ryan!
I appreciate you Tamari :)
Never doubt the power of simplicity!
Happy new year Ryan 🏍️🇨🇦
Your videos are awesome man!!!!! You have taught how to play so many songs and you explain it so simple and easy it’s really helpful. I know this is a three year old video but keep up the amazing work!!!!!!

I absolutely love this song. Thanks for the quick tutorial
cheers friend
Thanks Ryan! I had some of it right, some of it wrong and a lot of it with no clue.
Great lessons this week. I love Alice in Chains like you love PJ, so I've been obsessing over that lesson. Then this morning thought I should let it go for a bit, so I returned for the Nirvana lesson, but now I'm back up in my "AIC standard" 1/2 step down for this. I'm getting really good at the tuning song 🙂.
Thanks again for teaching the songs/grungy goodness I love! Also I truly appreciate the shirt (and the beavers)!
I'm glad you're having a good time, thank you my good Tim :)
Great video ryan!!

teehee. gotta get up pretty early in the morning, as bugs bunny says :)
The choice of the Kay for this song isn't just Oh-KAY, it's PERFECT 👌😁👍
teehee :) well taken sir
"How do you feel, this is the question'', lovely stuff. What's about "Build that wall" lesson by Darren Korb? Great song for acoustic!
thank you for the idea SPJ :)
So I gave it beavers🤣🤣
Awesome Ryan thank you and what a sweet sound to that guitar of yours👌👍
why thank you LH :)
Good job
thanks MC
man that guitar sounds amazing
thank you :) it's what one would have purchased if one walked into a department store in the 1960's, which is just what someone did - who I do not know, but now I have it. You're hearing electric strings on an acoustic guitar, because that's fun sometimes :)
10/18/20. 4:14 pm Sunday. CONGRATULATIONS ON 50K SUBSCRIBERS!!!!! I first noticed you hit 50K at 4:10pm or about 5 minutes ago! On 4/2/19 I first watched you when I think you had 12K subscribers and I commented if you could teach us how to dance like the guy in the red jacket in the Petula Clark video “I Know a Place.” 38K subscribers later and I’m still pissed off that you didn’t teach us how to dance like that guy! Take care, Ryan.
haha thanks for always keeping it fun MM :)
50k done, congratulations 🥳 !! 50k thanks 🥰
thanks D!!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!😃✌

Thanks for the video. Simple, but sounds authentic nevertheless!

Great work again Ryan. Always look forward to your videos.
I also have a request if you please. Perfect for a softball Sunday.
Me in Honey by R.E.M if you wouldn't mind kind sir. Being the absolute novice I am I can't figure it out 😔
thanks for the idea James!
Hey, can you do spinning in the daffodils by Josh Homme? The one version where he plays live with the acoustic (lollapaoolaza)
Would be sick man 🤘🏻
neat idea thank you Tristan :)
Oh yeah, I remember the Skype lesson where I asked this song. Was very cool👌
And nice guitar, new one ?
that's my 1967 Kay. I think I've had it a year
nice guitar!!! is that classical guitar Ryan?? love it! 🎸❤
that is a 1967 Kay with new tuners and electric strings on it - thanks Bert :)
Hope you've been doing well man. Can you do The Longing Goes Away by The Frogs? Eddie did a great version of that song in 2012 and in 1994
neat idea Austin thanks :)
Would you please teach Exhausted by the Foo Fighters? I haven't been able to find any clear cut tutorials out there.
in the plans my good man thank you :)
Great job don't know how I missed this one. Can you do the slide ups on Snuff by Slipknot ? I cannot figure that part out.
I did the acoustic but not the album version, right? great idea BC
Nice, hope alls well neighbor ✊
still waiting for you to hit me up for golf! ryanlendt@gmail.com
can you do some Bowie stuff sometime? Specifically Speed of Life? Or Pearl Jam’s version of Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd?
thank you for the ideas SS :)
49.9k....the suspense is palpable but not edible
i think the term is platypus
A 50 thousand subscribers special video planned Ryan?
that whole thing was your fault Brian. I was just going to do a regular song until I saw your comment...
Hey Ryan. Could I please request a campfire "I don't know" by Sawmill Joe sometime? Also, nice guitar.
thanks Kerr :) on THE LIST
@@RyanLendt You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.
Gotta love beavers! 🦡🦡🦡🦡🦡
I was a cub scout in Canada - but they weren't called cub scouts, they were called Beavers. Our end of meeting chant was BEAVERS BEAVERS BEAVERS! everything I just shared is 100% true.
Why do I feel like there is a party and within this man
the party is in all of us
Special Request.. Would request Animal, by Pearl Jam (you know, cause of my name..) but you already did that one before so... Your Soul Today, by Chris Cornell.. campfire edition, question mark? Because I only play acoustic by myself so.. while accurate versions are nice and all they sometimes don't sound as good on acoustic.. especially not by myself.
thanks for the idea 5A1 :)
Do you do any lessons of your own songs RL?
I do, and you can find those videos in the "originals" playlist :) thanks for asking NW!
Nice lesson it was easy to understand but I'm scared to tune down my acoustic half step down cause the strings really old and I'm afraid one of em may snap lmao 😅
get new strings silly
@@RyanLendt I would but the problem is my parents don't have tome to take me to the guitar store
Do a lesson of Searching with my good eye closed by soundgarden
nice idea thanks JD
nice geetar!
thanks!
Thanks! Great teacher you are. Yoda I'm not.
Watch the live version has no d after the c it’s a short d after e. They do it differently every time wish they would make up those minds.. I always play with the beaver every chance I get!
:) it means you have license to do you
Is this song in drop d
Do "Couldn't know" by Paw
thanks HS
@@RyanLendt You're welcome my bruda
real men use Eb tuning from cradle ,,, and if there are girls around, they sometimes agree to put capo on first fret ...
