Not the OG Griffin vulc, which there are two versions of. Lakai slowed down on Griffin XLK production several years ago with maybe two to three colors each season. The XLK is the cupsole version.

Nice review. You notice any major differences between these and the Proto?

They're both cupsoles, but the Proto's seem to me to be slightly thicker on the bottom and slightly narrower fitting. The tread on the bottom is the same, but the Proto's will probably take a little longer to break in. The toe shape is similar, but the Atlantic, unlike the Proto, has a one-piece toe box so you don't have to worry about blowing out a seam. The Proto also has a bootie-fit and has a higher profile, where the Atlantic is a really low-profile cup. - Tim
