    I'm a long term expat (from the US, living in Norway) and I have three citizenships! If a country allows you to hold more than one citizenship, they can't really cap the number of additional passports you acquire. Makes me feel a bit like a spy or something :D

    Thoughts on the Working Holiday visa (Canada-France)? Is there a max on the amount of hours you can work on that? And can anyone apply (i.e., regardless of age or marital status).

    But I still wonder if I will be able to apply for citizenship after my graduation from M2 when I got a job.
    because I didn’t hear or read this information except here, I hope this opportunity is still available till our day and I don’t have to spend 5 years waiting ❤
    Thanks a million

    Hi Ariel (Hope I spelt your name correctly?),
    Your videos are amazing, thank for giving a rounded view (The good, the bad and the ugly or the French visa system).
    I have a couple of questions (Might be tricky to answer, as your situation is different to mine). I am currently living in the UK, my intention is to move to France for 1.5 years, mainly living in a campervan:-
    *Depending on my situation this visa requires a 3 month or 1 year employment contract, am I correct in saying that, this should be from my current job in the UK?
    *I think I also do not need a job lined up in France for this VISA?
    *Are you free to not work if you choose to with this VISA, would it cause problems applying for repeated French VISA's if I did not work?
    *Are you free to leave France with this VISA (Would it cause problems if I left for say 6 months, during the 4 year period?)?
    *Could I apply for just 1 year.
    Sorry a lot of detailed questions, but leaving for job next week, so I have limited time to apply for the VISA (I only realised might be eligible today).
    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Hello, thank you very much for the informative videos. The Visa application is so nerve wracking and difficult. I am graduating from my masters this october and applying for the APS (looking for work visa). For me the problem is after APS visa, I have to change to CDI. I will be working as a waitress and get A CDI. If my salary wont get to 53k (now it has changed to 53k € a year), does it mean that I can't stay in france? Or should I just renew my visa every year with the title Salarie?
    Some of my friends are saying if you dont get 53k a year as a salary job offer after graduation, you can't stay. Please help me on this issue ❤❤🙏🙏🙏

    Hello, thank you for your video I am American doing a masters in Lyon. I do have a question. Do I qualify for a recherche d'emploi visa if I did a one year masters (skipped the first year)? I know I will have to wait 5 years to qualify for citizenship which I dont mind. However, the way in which you phrased it it seems you need two year masters to qualify for the recherche d'emploi visa i hope I just misunderstood haha

    • @Ariellelaparisienne
      @Ariellelaparisienne  Рік тому

      Nope ! It's literally one of the most simple visas... You just need you diploma or proof that you will graduate (sometimes the diplomas are sent out super late so an attestation from your school is fine) :)

    This isn’t so much a question about visas but more about your masters! You mention you studied in the South, did you enjoy living in the south? And did you move to Paris for work, or were there other reasons? I’d love to study in France when I’m done my undergrad, but I definitely prefer smaller cities

    • @Ariellelaparisienne
      @Ariellelaparisienne  Рік тому +2

      Yes I adored the south and miss it very much ! ☺️☀️ I moved purely for financial reasons.... I had to complete an internship for my masters and the jobs in Paris were the only ones that paid more than 500€ a month 🥲

      @@maddscientist3170 I think she means the internship paid that much. In most cases internships in France dont pay well until you can get a CDI / full time employment they give you a much higher salary.

    There's no theoretical limit to the number of citizenships you can have, unless you're a citizen of a country that forbids multiple citizenship, which Canada, France and Italy do not

    Do you need to file a tax return if you are on a visitor visa for travel..?

    • @Ariellelaparisienne
      @Ariellelaparisienne  Рік тому

      No ☺️ a travel visa does not give you the right to work where as a student visa does - so it's assumed directly I imagine that you don't have income tax 😉
