Great video Nick! I love the new looks, the rear especially with the new tail lights, sport exhaust and engine grill. The graphite blue is my favorite color too, I think it's perfect for this car!
+Nick Murray, I actually like the Graphite Blue but I think it might be something you'd want to see in person before getting it. Decisions! Decisions! :D
These videos are (what I assume) the easiest to make on your channel, but they're always really pleasurable to watch. I enjoy how you go through all the options and explain why you like/dislike them and which you are planning on getting.
You're the only You tuber I can watch for half an hour talking about car options and not get board, great video. Can't wait to see the car when you get it. You picked some really tasteful colours and options. I'm with you on carbon fiber anything, has always stuck me as a bit tacky or borderline childish.
+Veyronp87 The GT3 is a limited run of about 500 cars, buying a 'second hand' now, will set you back almost 1/4 more of the price if you'd bought it yourself from a dealer...
few things nick would love to help you order this car, as I work at a Porsche dealership. 1) sports chrono with manual gives u a few things - dynamic engine mounts - which eliminates drivetrain slop during shifts and when you take turns at higher g's. you also get rev matching. 2) sports plus button is now on a Mannetino on the steering wheel. 3) the wheel hop has to do with the tire compound and alignment - not the suspension geometry Let's do it!
Hey Nick, I don't think the configurator is wrong for the sport chrono package. They moved the sport and sport plus buttons to the steering wheel, just like the 918. I think the rotary dial looks fantastic and they even added a sport response button which maximizes the straight line performance for 15 seconds? I could be wrong here. Anyways, I think that's a decent reason to tick sport chrono package.
Nick have you thought about going to the aftermarket for an exhaust system that retains the 4 exhaust tips and gives you the sound of the factory sport exhaust?
I for one really enjoyed it, even as someone who is not looking in the price range of the 911. It's interesting to hear your opinions on which options are and are not worth the generally exorbitant prices that Porsche charges.
The video was not boring in any way. Thanks for sharing :) And great idea to pick the car up in Zuffenhausen. I visited two months ago and was blown away by the atmosphere and their museum! The Porsche museum is a must :) Thanks again for all your videos. Much appreciated
+minibus1351 Got to agree with you. I saw a 991 4S Cabriolet in speed yellow the other day and I thought it looked very smart. However I think personally I would choose a colour like Agate grey or a like and stay more inconspicuous.
The most annoying part about your videos is when you excuse the length of them! Your videos are the best Porsche videos out there! one can learn so much from them, don't make them shorter!! When you talk about steering column in leather, then that's what really helps and inspires us all. Thanks for your efforts and all the information.
Good luck with your move Nick. Exciting times for you with the new car too. Interesting to hear your thoughts on the new model. I almost bought a Macan this week but my heart is well and truly with the 911. I look forward to following your journey over the next few months. All the best.
If I was lucky enough to be able to order a new 911, I'd get the Miami Blue with the Glass Room and Gloss Black styling Package if available. That will look amazing.
Nick Murray To touch on seats I'd definitely recommend the 18 way ones, our 997 had them and they were so comfortable and held you perfectly in place, the 14 ways in our 991 are still good but definitely less supportive when cornering. Look forward to more videos!
Sport Chrono adds the auto throttle blip function in sport plus mode. So not completely useless to get it with the manual. I think there are no sport and sport plus buttons in the center console because those are now selcted via the mode switch on the steering wheel.
Hi Nick - thanks for this. I'm looking at buying a 991.2 soon (my first Porsche) and found your run through of the configurator to be very helpful. I especially appreciated your thoughts about which options were worth the money and which ones weren't. Keep it up. You're good at this.
+7652917 I think leasing is good if you have a business that can claim back part of the expense otherwise purchasing is a far more simple process and easier to work up a larger discount.
+Nick Murray This is why I drive a 5 year old Ford LOL! Seriously, I get so much shit for giving people who are bitching about their car payments this same advice.
You have to go for the LED headlights, so much brighter and more distinctive than Xenon's when driving at night. (Similar to the jump from halogen to xenon bulbs) I also heard PASM is now standard, even on the "base" 911.
Nick, I'm not sure the configurator is broken since the image you saw is showing the sport button on the steering wheel per the 918 style wheel. Not sure if you have to order multifunction to get that but it's not a given that the sport button is on the console now.
I have spent many hours on the old configurator! I would chose a white exterior with the Graphite blue interior!! :) Way too addictive that thing. Can't wait to see your review of the orange one! Orange and light blue would be the only other colours I would consider. cheers.
After getting rid of the old car, did you ever calculate all of your dealership visit fees? I'm curious to know what was spent even though I know the car was in warranty
Hi Nick, thanks for the video. A lot of good information. I got a question. Have you heard anyone order the European Delivery got a discount from dealer? If Yes, how much is the discount in general? Thanks!
I am very much looking forward to you being back in a 911. I myself am in love with the Miami blue, reminds me of the riviera blue (think thats what they called it) which was always my favorite color on the last gen gt3.
Hi Nick, not boring at all. Great explanation of the options. Looking forward to seeing your pick-up and driving around the Ring. If I win the Euromillions lottery before you go I am coming with you to get mine too :) Keep up the great work!!
We definitely have different taste but I'm glad you're sticking to the 911! I absolutely love my 911s. I was wondering, would you consider the GTS? I remember you said you didn't like it, but the new S looks so much like the old GTS. The new front end looks exactly like the 991.1 sport design fascia (that you get standard in the GTS) and it even has the black rear air vent. I have the GTS Cab, and I would definitely recommend it (Minus alcantara of course). So would you consider it at all?
I love Nick's videos as well and I do hope he's going to be more lucky this time with his new P. Good think he didn't choose the fire extinguisher option.. Let it burn to the ground if it has to :p I will agree on everything you said about the new GTS and for me it's an extra plus the fact it's the last and most powerful NA stick P money can buy and it should keep its value over the years. I got the last allocation of my dealership in Las Vegas. I am also supporting the deviating stitching however if you see in person the two tone leather black red, it looks so classy and sporty at the same time! Thank you for the great video Nick.
maverick1715 Yeah I agree. I like the red seat belts, carbon fiber trim, illuminated tread plates, black wheels, led headlights, pretty much all of what Nick supposedly doesn't like.. My old S Cabriolet had the Sport Techno wheels like his old S, and they looked amazing. The GTS (especially RWD) is a lot of fun.
+Charlie Long I personally love all of the GTS touches! My dream 911 is a 991 C4 GTS Coupé with the manual in either Carmine or a P.T.S. pearl red. Manual gearbox for fun and all wheel drive for extra grip and all-year usability.
Nick, I saw the Graphite Blue 991.2 at the Chicago Auto Show. The color looks even better in person, especially with the Platinum Satin Carrera S wheels. It's gonna be hard to beat your old 991 though, that was a great build as well.
Nick, when you do order your 991.2, pls share your "porsche code" especially since as you mentioned in your previous 991 vids, the deviated stitching is not available in the standard configurator. thanks!
I love that new steering wheel!! Very cool and by far the best looking one to date. I always wondered what the European delivery was but never gave it much since I thought it was for the people who ordered it out of the U.S. Silly me!! I will definitely be looking forward to that video. Awesome video as always Nick! Take care.
Was worth watching till the end for the European delivery announcement. Very excited to watch you in your hopefully "gremlin" free 911 on the Autobahn. Oh and I picked wood in my Cayenne and really happy with the warm not plastic look. So is the M4 being sold to make room for your new baby?
I have a 997 c2s and never noticed the issue you mention with backing up. Interesting, i'll try to pay attention to that. By the way the center exhaust makes it look like a GT3 to me...
glad you are doing so well to buy a new house and a Porsche. I hope when I'm done school I can get to that level. The only thing I don't get is your aversion to flashy colors. it's a sports car, my favorite color on the 911 is yellow, or the purple gt3rs!
Hey with the interior choices maybe red would work, as originally on the Bond DB5 it came with a red body and a dark blue grey and black interior, so maybe the reverse would work here, as black and red looked rather striking when you matched them briefly in the video. also what is the story on the headlights, as when you showed the comparison photo of the two blues next to each other, the older one looked much better in that department. like it seemed to have two bulbs, not one.
"A bit of a long and boring video." You know, you're not wrong, but I still watched all of it. I'm only 24 and I have a 2013 WRX which pushes my budget now, but I hope I can afford cars like the M4 or maybe even an Aston when I'm in my mid 30's/early 40's. Despite all the waffle waffle I enjoyed the video, thanks for posting Nick.
Great video Nick! Wasn't boring at all! Great idea to take your car directly from Germany, althogh it will cost some money to get it back to the states!
What about a GTS? Are you going to let the 911 break in before your ambitious trips? How are you getting the 911 back to America? Or you could let me mind in my driveway ;)
Great video, Nick. I'm really looking forward to your European delivery coverage. Will Zuffenhausen be rolling out the red carpet for you or spitting in your coffee?
Nick! As always, love the videos and appreciate your feedback on a few of these options (helping my mom configure a Macan S ) - in your case don't you feel the PCCB Brakes are worth the 8k when it comes to resale value?
Hi Nick, I am of the same opinion as Charlie Long and think the new 991.2 looks like the GTS 991.1 I own as well. I am so pleased with my model and wouldn't want the new models engine but would love to have that new steering wheel in my GTS. I really am not a fan of the brushed aluminium you are considering, I have had it in my last two Audis S5 & SQ5 which I use as my everyday car and this is a base standard option which I feel looks cheap and tacky and scratches quite easily. I really look forward to seeing your configurator when you decide to proceed with the new model. I have already been offered good money from my local dealership for my 4 GTS to consider the new model when it's actually released as I've only covered 1000 miles in mine.
Excellent video Nick, as someone just getting into specing what will be my first Porsche I found a few items on the configurator confusing. Your attention to detail and honest feedback was very helpful. I am considering a C4 because I live in Ontario Canada and we get 2 or 3 good snow storms a winter. However here it is a $10k upgrade from the base (rear wheel) Carrera. I see you are in New England and didn't buy the 4s last time. Curious how your experience was and if you now think the 4 is worth the extra money over the rear wheel drive in a wintery climate?
+Chad McBain There is no question that the 4S will give you more get up and go in wet/snow conditions, the mistake a lot of 4S owners seem to make is leaving summer or all weather tires on their cars and wonder why they have such a bad experience. Snow tires on either a C2 or C4 make all the difference as you know and for the two most important maneuvers; turning and stopping where having AWD makes little or no difference. Because the weight of the car is over the driven wheels and those wheels have clever diff locks on them the C2 911 is surprisingly great in the snow. Certainly much better than my M4 or most any other 2 wheel drive car I have driven. Personally I am still considering a C4S for my next car to experience what the AWD and I have been reassured by many C4S owners that they are just as much fun but personally I doubt that I always leave with a bigger smile after driving the C2S but that is just me.
+Nick Murray Thanks...great points. I run snows now on my 20 inch rims now, so I get your point. Hey just curious but if you are ever bored go to the Porsche Canada site and spec out a Carrera 4 Black Edition. It seems to be a better value then the standard Carrera 4, all be it is only available in black lol. I don't think it is available stateside but they are throwing a few goodies at it as standard as well as the only naturally aspirated engine still available in the lineup. Thanks Nick, I appreciate your videos :)
Very intersting video, nick. I just have to say that the LEDs are so much better than the Xenons that I would not mind the looks and go for the much better technique.
+pmadsen45 It is interesting because they now have the same engine. The brakes and other small features remain downgraded but if tuner upgrades are able to up the standard engine over the S engine then it might be a bargain!
Nick do you currently have the full adaptive led headlights on your m4? I have them in my and I cannot express my disappointment with them in comparison to the bi-xenon headlights. Wondering how you feel about the BMW lighting..
+Nick Murray I am so disappointed with the range of vision they give you, I can't see more than what seems like 5-7 feet in front of me. And they're much too finicky, always wanting to move about. The auto high beam is also really stupid and rarely comes on
Very excited to see your new 911 when you eventually order it as well as see what the European delivery is all about. European delivery is something I definitely want to do if I ever order a Porsche (or a BMW as I've been told they offer a similar service). Quick question, how does the Bose system compare to the standard sound system in the 911? Is the difference similar to that of going from standard to bose in a C7 (current generation) Audi A6? (that's my only relevant frame of reference) Thanks, and congrats on the new house!
+Ayrton Mutagaana Yes the standard system is very weak so the Bose is a big improvement. Mostly extra midrange and low range but you can tell they hold back the power in the Bose so that the $$$ option has everything.
+MarkHinds Jaguar are finally making world class cars again. The F-Type R is as good as any other in the class and in some ways better. Looking forward to reviewing one soonish
Mmmm, like some have mentioned I too have my doubts on the new 3.0 litre turbo for the new 991.2. First, the sound..seems like all new turbo engined cars have some form of engine induction noise piped to the cabin, I personally don't think it sounds as good as the mechanical cacophony of a NA engine. Secondly, with an extra two turbos, plumping and intercoolers sitting behind the rear axle, the balance of the 911, already rear heavy, may be further erroded. (On the other hand, its a smaller 3 litre engine, which should make it lighter.) And lastly, there's the dreaded turbo lag. I think I will wait for the day when they put out an engine with an electric motor driven turbo.
Hey nick great video have you taken into consideration buying a used 991 turbo i just saw one in eBay for 140 grand and if you buy it in 2016 i guess you could get it for much lower since the carrera s would be close to 135 grand With al the options you mentioned
+martin q Thanks for the comment, yes I was originally looking at getting a turbo, it is not the $$ holding me back. The turbo forces me to get the PDK and the AWD both of which I think I don't want this time, and on top of that, the more I drive the turbo and the turbo S the less I am in love with them, the C2S is more than powerful enough and I find to be more fun to drive. Fun is the aim here.
With sport exhaust it really looks a little like Cayman - which is a great car but hey, you are buying a 911! Have you considered going with stock exhaust and after guarantee expires upgrade it to some aftermarket one? It would be cheaper and probably sound better.
Thought you were crazy picking that colour when I watched this video but I saw a video from Frankfurt and now I think that might be the best colour available!
Take 2 sorry for earlier typos Hi Nick/ thanks for such great video footage re cars, helicopters and everything else. Great hands on based information presented with great humour. Take no notice of the idiotic hate mail - people are by nature either jealous or envious...Keep up the great work my friend
Hi Nick! Very entertaining to see the configuration from your point of view. I never thought of that grey dial in the middle for example. I agree with you about the engines. Could be very different from previous models but this is the way it goes. Need some boost against the Mercedes GT and all the AMGs and M4s ;) Spending on exterior colour is worth all the money. It will stand out from the white and silver/grey cars of today. I will go for some funky Carmine Red or Lava Orange too. Or just try some very old school aubergine, magenta or midnight purple thing. Or even better to get some old emerald green from the 964 era. That Miami Blue is also reminds me of the old 968s which I love so much. Looking forward to hear from your new car.
Nice car choice, and I like the cleaner lines of the 911 vs the GT models. One bone I have to pick w many of these car companies when it comes to options. Say you select the power seats for $2200. You don't get the standard seats which probably costs the company $1800, so really you should pay $400 for that option, NOT $2200. In other words, you don't get paid for the standard options you don't get. Minor point, but it is my beef of the day.....
Those vertical louvers in the back are awful Nick! Other than that, completely agree with you. Always love hearing your opinions; keep up the good work! You should get a press pass and consider covering the LA Auto Show this November!
Great video Nick! I love the new looks, the rear especially with the new tail lights, sport exhaust and engine grill. The graphite blue is my favorite color too, I think it's perfect for this car!
+subaruwrxfan Thanks Matt, yes I am back and forth on the color, I am even considering a custom dark green. Like those green cars : )
+Nick Murray, I actually like the Graphite Blue but I think it might be something you'd want to see in person before getting it. Decisions! Decisions! :D
I don't think you have to worry about losing the quad exhaust. I think the center mounted exhaust looks fantastic and really exotic.
+FSFLIGHTproductions Thanks buddy!
for 130,000 i would get a bone stock GT3. won't have all the cool options but its such a pure drivers car.
+Veyronp87 They are like chalk and cheese so I am told! Im with you though. GT3 all the way (although id be reluctant to get the 991)
+Michael Goodwin 997 gt3. :D
+Veyronp87 i could be wrong but i believe there is still a pretty long waiting list for the GT3, used ones are selling over new price here in the UK
+Veyronp87 The GT3 is a limited run of about 500 cars, buying a 'second hand' now, will set you back almost 1/4 more of the price if you'd bought it yourself from a dealer...
You are right, there are more, I don't know how many but they are expensive, no doubt...
few things nick
would love to help you order this car, as I work at a Porsche dealership.
1) sports chrono with manual gives u a few things - dynamic engine mounts - which eliminates drivetrain slop during shifts and when you take turns at higher g's. you also get rev matching.
2) sports plus button is now on a Mannetino on the steering wheel.
3) the wheel hop has to do with the tire compound and alignment - not the suspension geometry

+pksangavaram Thanks for the heads up
Hey Nick, I don't think the configurator is wrong for the sport chrono package.
+Tian Xu (swein1900) Ahhh yes you might be right!!
Love these options videos. Always get confused looking at the configurator but you dropped great knowledge here for us. Great stuff
Nick have you thought about going to the aftermarket for an exhaust system that retains the 4 exhaust tips and gives you the sound of the factory sport exhaust?
I for one really enjoyed it, even as someone who is not looking in the price range of the 911. It's interesting to hear your opinions on which options are and are not worth the generally exorbitant prices that Porsche charges.

yellow actually looks great on the 911.
+minibus1351 My 2014 Cayman S is yellow with Carrera Classic wheels, and it turns heads everywhere I go. :)
+PLAY_HRD Yellow is a Cayman color, not so much a 911 color...
Yea the 991 pulls it off well. Same with the corvette stingray
+minibus1351 Got to agree with you. I saw a 991 4S Cabriolet in speed yellow the other day and I thought it looked very smart. However I think personally I would choose a colour like Agate grey or a like and stay more inconspicuous.

When you talk about steering column in leather, then that's what really helps and inspires us all. Thanks for your efforts and all the information.
+uiaiui More LONG reviews coming your way : )
The pic for sport chrono is not wrong. The buttons are now on a dial on the steering wheel.
Good luck with your move Nick. Exciting times for you with the new car too. Interesting to hear your thoughts on the new model. I almost bought a Macan this week but my heart is well and truly with the 911. I look forward to following your journey over the next few months. All the best.
nick
there is no sport plus button on central consol because it is displaced on steering wheel on new models
Nick, I agree with you regarding the "double banger" headlights. The single eye looks much better than the double eye per socket.
not a quick little video at 26 mins, haha
+Jared Rosenholtz True
Hahaha I was gonna say exactly that! Brilliant
This wasn't a boring video, Nick. It was awesome. I love that shade of blue.
+Vincent Gambini, oh I did not mean boring! he just said quick in the beginning, which is funny because its 26 minutes
You do get the sport and sport plus button on the right corner of the steering wheel with sport chrono package, just like the one on the 918 Spyder.
+kqian0526 Yes indeed, my mistake
If I was lucky enough to be able to order a new 911, I'd get the Miami Blue with the Glass Room and Gloss Black styling Package if available. That will look amazing.
You got to get the Sport suspension bc of the front lip looks fantastic
Think a few others might have said it, but when you spec the sport chrono package now the 918 style dial actually replaces the sport buttons.
+MJParker1804 Yes indeed, my mistake
Nick Murray To touch on seats I'd definitely recommend the 18 way ones, our 997 had them and they were so comfortable and held you perfectly in place, the 14 ways in our 991 are still good but definitely less supportive when cornering. Look forward to more videos!
Sport Chrono adds the auto throttle blip function in sport plus mode. So not completely useless to get it with the manual.
I think there are no sport and sport plus buttons in the center console because those are now selcted via the mode switch on the steering wheel.
Nick, would you ever consider doing an aftermarket exhaust on the car if you wanted a more sporty exhaust while keeping the quad tailpipes?
Hi Nick - thanks for this. I'm looking at buying a 991.2 soon (my first Porsche) and found your run through of the configurator to be very helpful. I especially appreciated your thoughts about which options were worth the money and which ones weren't. Keep it up. You're good at this.
Not long and boring. Long and interesting. Loved it!
Hey Nick. Love your videos. What is your take on buying versus leasing an expensive cars? Which way do you feel is the best way to go.
+7652917 I think leasing is good if you have a business that can claim back part of the expense otherwise purchasing is a far more simple process and easier to work up a larger discount.
+Nick Murray Do you just pay it all at once or do you finance it? Sorry, that's kind of a louche question.
+charlesmcguffy I generally pay cash. If I can not afford to pay cash then I can not afford the car.
+Nick Murray This is why I drive a 5 year old Ford LOL! Seriously, I get so much shit for giving people who are bitching about their car payments this same advice.
That definitely seems to be the sensible thing to do!
You have to go for the LED headlights, so much brighter and more distinctive than Xenon's when driving at night. (Similar to the jump from halogen to xenon bulbs) I also heard PASM is now standard, even on the "base" 911.
Even though it's way out of my league I enjoyed this.
Beware. If the aluminium trim is anything like BMWs it will scratch really easily.
Hello Nick. Another great video! Thanks for putting in the time and energy. Do you think you will get the Adaptive Cruise Control?
Nick - Sport Chrono will give you the throttle blip on downshift which is perhaps useful when speccing the manual?
+spence22 This is true!
Nick, I'm not sure the configurator is broken since the image you saw is showing the sport button on the steering wheel per the 918 style wheel. Not sure if you have to order multifunction to get that but it's not a given that the sport button is on the console now.
+vantagesc Good point I think you are correct, my mistake.

After getting rid of the old car, did you ever calculate all of your dealership visit fees? I'm curious to know what was spent even though I know the car was in warranty
Sapphire Blue is Gorgeous. The Graphite Blue just looks muddy and dull in real life.
Glad to see you are looking forward to the new 991.2. Very excited for you :)
Hi Nick, thanks for the video. A lot of good information. I got a question. Have you heard anyone order the European Delivery got a discount from dealer? If Yes, how much is the discount in general? Thanks!
Hi Nick, enjoyed the video and Im looking forward to your whole European pickup experience in the coming year of your 911:)
I am very much looking forward to you being back in a 911.
I myself am in love with the Miami blue, reminds me of the riviera blue (think thats what they called it) which was always my favorite color on the last gen gt3.

I played around the configurator before watching your video and apart from the LED headlights my configuration is exactly the same as you lol
Also the graphite blue is AMAZINF
I'm surprised that the new engines are heavier, but can't wait for your new 911!!! Get the RWD
Nick, when you do order your 991.2, pls share your "porsche code" especially since as you mentioned in your previous 991 vids, the deviated stitching is not available in the standard configurator. thanks!
I love that new steering wheel!! Very cool and by far the best looking one to date. You didnt tick the light package. For me it is an essential as you get all interior lights in old style light bulbs as standard.
+Johan Sjöberg True, I will get the Light package, well worth while
I like the quad tips better
twin tailpipes look ace imo, four pipes are a bit of a showoff
Hi Nick, nice video... Best of luck with your new toy, can't wait to see!!! Porsche rules
I really enjoyed your presentation and the rationale for your choice of options
The moved 0, Sport, S+ and I in the 918 Style Wheel.

glad you are doing so well to buy a new house and a Porsche. I hope when I'm done school I can get to that level. The only thing I don't get is your aversion to flashy colors. it's a sports car, my favorite color on the 911 is yellow, or the purple gt3rs!
What happened to the m4? I was considering brethren a new m4 vs 2013 Porsche 911 CS
Hey Nick, how much discount do you normally get at porsche in the US?
+HalloProletariat Depends on the model and the timing but anywhere from 4-9% is normal
Interesting, here it's about between 3-7 %
White looks great if you add white wheels and red interior stitching with the dark front headlights👌🏼
+Oscar L. Say no to drugs.
is there is any information about the date of release of the turbo S version of the 991.2 ?
The price just keep on increasing lol Porsche's options never disappoint
What about a GTS? Are you going to let the 911 break in before your ambitious trips? How are you getting the 911 back to America? Or you could let me mind in my driveway ;)
Yellow 911 actually looks good in real life IMO.
No that would be snuck cost. A 2 year old 911 with CCB next to the same car without is about 1k more
Please keep us updated about your european delivery. I live next to the Ring :D
The redesigned front bumper of the 991.2 makes the front of the car remind me of the 997.2 front.
Nick, would you like to see them bring back my favourite all time wheels Fuchs?
+StanO011 They sort of did with the 50th aniv wheels don't you think? I loved them.
Not boring at all! Keep up the good work!
That white gts is the most awesome looking car I have ever seen. Thumbs up!
So how much did all of this options add up to??
Greeting from Oz. . European delivery will be amazing! Looking forward to that vid.... Don't reckon you'll see much lag with the twin turbo..
It's got to be a cabrio in GT Silver with Graphite Blue interior, blue roof, grey/silver seat belts and PCCB. Sweet.
Hey Nick what do you think about those center exhausts
It seems as though the 991.2 has narrowed the gap between a base carrera and a carrera S. Is that the feeling you get as well?
+pmadsen45 It is interesting because they now have the same engine. The brakes and other small features remain downgraded but if tuner upgrades are able to up the standard engine over the S engine then it might be a bargain!
What do you do for a living? If you don't mind me asking.
Nice configuration but what's wrong with the mahogany ?
+Guy Incognito Don't make me slap you with my fish.
can't wait nick!
Nick do you currently have the full adaptive led headlights on your m4? I have them in my and I cannot express my disappointment with them in comparison to the bi-xenon headlights. Wondering how you feel about the BMW lighting..
Yes I have the LEDs in my M4 and they are shit.
Hey Nick, what is your opinion on the 2016 Jaguar F-Type R with AWD?
You spec totally different than i would lol. Bright red, black and beige interior, Red belts, and everything in carbon fibre ^^
+GustavLjungberg Say no to drugs : )
+Nick Murray hahahaha
Nice overview! What about Apple Car Play?
With sport exhaust it really looks a little like Cayman - which is a great car but hey, you are buying a 911! Have you considered going with stock exhaust and after guarantee expires upgrade it to some aftermarket one? It would be cheaper and probably sound better.
Thought you were crazy picking that colour when I watched this video but I saw a video from Frankfurt and now I think that might be the best colour available!
"Drive high speed on Autobahn", with a new car? Do they recommend that?
Take 2 sorry for earlier typos
Hi Nick/ thanks for such great video footage re cars, helicopters and everything else. Great hands on based information presented with great humour. Take no notice of the idiotic hate mail - people are by nature either jealous or envious...Keep up the great work my friend
If you go to Stuttgart to pick it up, you should a meet and greet.
Hey Nick you live if you live in Fairfield county CT it could be worse you could live in E. Granby talk about snow.
Hi Nick! Very entertaining to see the configuration from your point of view. I never thought of that grey dial in the middle for example.
I agree with you about the engines. Could be very different from previous models but this is the way it goes. Need some boost against the Mercedes GT and all the AMGs and M4s ;)
Spending on exterior colour is worth all the money.
+Turbolaser Whack Agree, everyone has silver or grey, get some color in your life people.
+John LeGresley You are quite right. Porsche grossly over charge for all their options. $285 for color cap on the wheels, we know that is a 10c item.
Those vertical louvers in the back are awful Nick! Other than that, completely agree with you. Always love hearing your opinions; keep up the good work!
You should get a press pass and consider covering the LA Auto Show this November!
