I get you. I had a bunch of tbr books waiting for a couple of months…. Going through some sad life stuff so i coped with reshelving books. 🤷♀️. I just dont feel it. I picked one book for next and thats as far as i can handle at this time
@@ACupOfBooks cleaning is my escape and my house is not the best but pretty tidy and clean. The down side is when i do extra like deep clean a drawer, pantry, inside the fridge no on notices😝. The best news is I mostly dont mind. I clean for me and to calm my body and mind
Blimey, electric mix, you're telling me. I am about to start Butter by Asako Yuzuki, the minute I saw the following on the back of the book 'There are two things that I simply cannot tolerate: Feminists and Margarine.' I just couldn't resist it. Enjoy your reading.
I read An Immense world and yes, it’s good. But for me…. it was SO much information, my little brain is only going to hold onto so much. There are a LOT of footnotes in every chapter (too many it felt like). Wondering how that translates in an audio book?? 🤔 I so want to read I Contain Multitudes but am afraid of information overload 😵💫 Last year I committed to reading The Count of Monte Cristo in Q1 this year… 😬 Haven’t started. Looks like I’ll just commit to “2024”. 😂
Hmm I have the physical copy as well so I may just read that instead. Thanks for the heads up about the footnotes. Good luck with The Count of Monte Cristo, I read it a few years ago and its really fun if you can persist with it!

Your husbands reaction to you cleaning from a great audio book😂❤❤❤
We're not very house proud people so a deep clean is an achievement to be noted.

Emily, you could write the perfect book on working in a circus, think about it.
There’s some really good autobiographies of circus people out there already actually 🙂 or I could be a fact checker for circus fiction.
Black Wave has been on my TBR forever. I am also hoping An Immense World will be really good!
I'm worried its been too overhyped. It will be interesting to see how it goes
thanks for recommending Silent Fury a couple videos ago! I really enjoyed it, and it was a good follow up to Cobalt Red.
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s such a hidden gem of a book
I'm thinking The Darkness Echoing would be an interesting read due to the juxtaposition of "darkness" and "entertaining". I'm all for that! 😄
Hoping so. I think it’ll be a good read.
Yes, more biology videos please haha. Ed Yong is so good.
He is fantastic. I feel like I’m tapped out with biology books right now. I did so many videos on them after I came back from my hiatus 🤣
Heresy lol😆@@ACupOfBooks

I added that to my want to read list when I read the back of it as well! If I had more book allowance I would have bought it. It looks great!
I really hope you like Sense and sendibility it's my favourite Austen book. I also dislike Emma, and Northanger Abbey is my second favourite.
I started yesterday because I have no self control and am terrible at waiting for a new monthly tbr 🤣 so far really enjoying it!
