Hi- I just got the Fasta Pasta a week or so ago. I have used it twice, once with bowtie pasta and once with spiral pasta. Both came out great, except that I put the lid on with the spiral pasta and it boiled over. Here's to the people that sa it takes just as long! I totally agree BUT I don't have to get a big pot out, fill it, wait for it to boil, cook pasta, eat and then clean that big pot. With the Fasta Pasta it's so easy and it's so easy to clean. TLDR: Love it. Works as intended. Works great for my small family.
Those are my points as well. Plus, I have a history of forgetting that I am cooking. The longest I ever forgot was about 16 hours. It melted the side of my microwave. Sure, investing in a cooktop that automatically turns off could solve the problem, but something like this is a much cheaper solution.
The instructions explicitly states NOT to microwave with the lid on. The lid is for straining and spaghetti portioning only. PS: The Fasta Pasta rocks!
The cooking instructions say (Step 3) cook with lid OFF! You add the lid in Step 4 to strain. I don't think you read the instructions you had in front of you.
thank you for clarifying, I have a similar product whos instructions were not written correctly so I had to do a youtube dive to find out whether it was lid on or off during cooking. . thank you
@@mattorama you don’t need access to a kitchen. You need access to a microwave. Like at work. In a hotel room. School. This is handy all sorts of places outside home.
I love it. I use it all the time for my macaroni and pasta.😊❤

☝️
I just bought this mostly for lasagna shells lot easier than pot of boiling water. I paid $2 more for the recipe book and it has some useful recipes
Suggest you don't put the lid on or explain why you did
Nice thanks for reviewing
Thank you!
Great Job, thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Where did you buy it did you buy it in a store or what thanks for the video..please give name of store thanks again.
My microwave is small, the pastamaker couldn't turn in it, it this a problem?
Think it would be fine.
Have you tried it with boiled water to speed up the cooking/ Or would that make the pasta stick together?
Omg I’m 2 years late great 👍🏻 video thanks no more pasta pot
Thanks!
👍 More of This . . . YOU ~ ROCK ! !
cool, I just bought one looks the same, but different brand called Ernesto but probably from the same Chinese factory
This is made in the USA yours is Chinese
This is American made
Can you cook small pastas like "elbow or spiral"?
Yes, believe so. Any kind of pasta will work.
No, it will explode.
cool and you can use it as a bowl too lol
i have the red one.
Microwaved pasta comes out weird. I’m against it. Takes a long time anyway and boiling water in a microwave is super inefficient.
Good video though.
Yea, it's pretty easy to boil in the first place and comes out better. Thanks!
Yeah, if it takes 14 minutes to microwave and you need access to a kitchen ANYWAY, why not just boil a pot of water?

Great, but that tomato sauce is going to stain the plastic.
Possibly but only if you cook/reheat with the sauce on it.
nah
15 mins? Takes 7 mins to boil....
15 minutes? that is longer than cooking on a stove!
Not everyone has a stove 💀
What is wrong with you ,read instructions first you don't cook with the top on .
15 minutes is longer than stovetop
Only if water is already boiling when you start the timer.
Assuming you have a stovetop. Work? Hotel room? School?
Not everyone has a stove top ya goof 💀
