Signs of trouble ahead for the band. This time period was hard for METAL.

Δισκάρα!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
My first time at Harpo's in Detroit. 💯
I actually think this album is wayyyyyyy too underrated.
It gets bagged on a lot because of the band's tumultuous time during this recording. Too bad really....
know clue what tumultuous means but the timing on this album is dope as fuck.
@@An4LDr1p616 meaning the band themselves were unstable during the time of the recording. this lineup broke up soon after. nothing to do with the timing of the music
Tumultuous means like chaotic, uncertain..etc
My favourite album they did, maybe cause it was the first one of theirs i heard when a mate gave me a tape with this on Ministry - Psalm 96 on to list to. What a time for metal the mid-80s - mid 90s were. Nothing much takes my fancy these days.

saw Nuclear Assault with Testament back in 89 or 90 I think. one of my first shows...I wonder how all those ol metalheads are. 🔷🇺🇸♦angelgrip⚡
Philip Scoggins seen them in "88" then on the Handle With Care Tour in there home land of Brooklyn N.Y. and at the original Ritz on 11 th. Street in N.Y.C.

This is actually a pretty good CD , in spite of what people say about it ...
Yep, it's a good album, but you can see fighting hard with record labels and managers took its toll. They weren't interested in releasing their best possible record, but just releasing it. Their core members were all writing riffs for non-Nuclear Assault records and it's reasonable to think that the stuff on "Out of order" could be second choice material. But I actually like it, because their style is still there.
@@frankwells7520 By 1991 , Death Metal took the Underground by "assault" , and many people lost interest in Thrash . Lilker was working hard with Brutal Truth by tehn , and he left Nuclear Assault's "ship" on the following year ...
This Album is intelligent and there best my opinion John was my top 3 mentors
this band - their music help me " survive " for most difficult times of my life at the year early 90s what a great band lets correct BEST in own series

Nice cover
Finally something good !
IIRC John Connelly had already released an album with the John Connelly Theory, Glenn Evans had released his first solo album as C.I.A. and Danny Lilker had released "Extreme Conditions..." with his "new" band Brutal Truth... Anthony Bramante was the only guy who still needed N.A. to exist. Judging by "Doctor Butcher," he didn't have much to contribute. :( Sad, because Nuclear Assault was one of my favorite thrash metal bands, and definitely the East Coast thrash band I digged the most. The album after this was kind of interesting, if only because John brought some guys over from JCT.
Actually, Bramante also wrote "Sign in blood" and a couple of other tunes on this album.
Yeah, Anthony Bramante was just never known that well. I personally think he’s a great guitar player, especially for the guitar solos as he was mostly the lead guitarist in the band (of course, John did solos). In an interview, Dan Lilker said that he was never part of the lyrics, so he didn’t really make a difference in the band musically. But then again, his solos are great.
John Connelly Theory - Back To Basics and C.I.A. - In The Red, both are pretty great albums. Songs like Harlam’s Nightmare has got that nice groove to it, and Extinction is thundering thrash with more of hard rock sound. Man, it would’ve been nice to see Anthony make his own solo album…that would be another band like KISS who individually released their own solo albums. Oh yeah, notably, every member has sang in KISS. Everyone sings on this album, Out of Order. I like “Doctor Butcher,” I think his voice sounds cool. Gotta love that scream at “I’m sick of being used as an experiment, yahhhhhhhhhhh!”
For those who are curious, Anthony Bramante left Nuclear Assault because his job makes it impossible to stay in the band. He is probably still a USPS postman in New York, since he’s from there I think. Commitments at home as well was also another reason. Dan Lilker said so in a interview. Kinda sad, since that was the original line-up, which I liked the most and I guess the best successful for the band.
From what I’ve found research says, “Currently, he is involved with a Thrash / Alternative Rock project entitled ShockTaleZ.”
I also loved his guitars, too. Looks like they’ve been sold. Just an awesome, underrated, and anonymous fellow.
Edit: Found a Dan Lilker interview ua-cam.com/video/d0hnigxfo30/v-deo.htmlsi=yYCBTdjJx1d5X_xM he mentions side projects Nuclear Assault members did including him, just like KISS he even said. He said that Anthony did a side project called Chainsaw…hmm that reminds me 🤔🤔, that chainsaw part in Doctor Butcher that Anthony sang on. Sounds like to me he loved that song.
... 🤘 🇺🇸
buen disco
Back in the 80s and 90s i didnt know of this band so i am a latecommer to these guys but i like them as much as megadeth and better than metalica. It seems the older i get the heavier the metal i like.Thrash has always been my favorite category.Death metal and black metal is good too.my least liked is considered glam rock.that shit is for overly happy people who cant see the darker side of life.
The punkiest of thrash metal bands. Or the thrashiest of punk bands? Either way, they helped me ignoring all the commercial shit.
kicks commercial nutt-sacks
CROSSOVER!!! :)
And incredible groove from the monstrous drum-bass combo!
Or is it crushingly awesome or awesomely crushing?!?!?!!!!!
It weird cause I consider D R.I. Thrash...just love 80's Thrash all around I guess..lol
Dan Lilker is ex Anthrax, NICE!

nice.
This album was not a masterpiece... not my favourite, but much better than other band out there.... I don't know why but i loved something wicked... Game over / Handle with care... Nuclear Assault one of the BEST EVER Thrash Metal band in times....

Never could understand why this didn’t do well at all!? For me it’s up there with survive as my faves. Something wicked is also great. Never saw the attraction to handle with care though always thought that one was just ok. Great band from my youth. Still listen to and enjoy them a lot

I have a first print original vinyl of this one :-D
Cool album. Not the best one but its not bad.
Do you still have it - any interest in trading? :)
Still do! I have all the material they've ever released on CD, Vinyl, DVD and VHS. All originals, spent the better part of a year tracking down everything. If i ever decide to trade ill let you know, but i wouldnt get my hopes up! They're my babies :D@@ashishsarin9568
Something Wicked (the song...not album) was Nuclear Assault's greatest achievement ever! Had they stuck to that format of writing, they would be huge today. Out of Order was ok...but not great. It worked when I was 15.
Honestly, "Something wicked" is not what NA are remembered for. That song is good, though.
What are you saying something wicked is amazing and thus also
My friend Something Wicked is a very good album, it's not just the title song, I prefer Nuclear Assault in the Game Over and Handle With Care for me perfect!!🔥🔥🔥🇧🇷
Not a big fan of this album compared to the one before it Handle with Care which was absolutely mind blowing. This sounded a bit too 'produced' or something. Not sure. I like a lot of this record though just not as in your face and raw as the albums before it.
I think it sounds disjointed. If you have to point out who played what and who sang on EVERY song, then it's clearly not a good sign. Apparently, John Connelly wasn't anywhere to be found. He wrote a good chunk of lyrics, and music on a few songs, but on the previous he wrote almost everything. Most of the guitars were recorded by Bramante only. There are even two songs not sang by the singer.
👌🏻👍🏻☝🏻🏴🏴🇲🇾
Game Over ,The Plague ,Brain Death, Survive , Handle With Care and this album I had them all on cassette back before CD,s. Good Old Day's! N.Y.C. Greatest Thrash Band of the "80", s Up to " 91" great Run of great music! More than Metallica ever did Thrash wise! Real Trash not Radio friendly music under ground.

Not a bad album but not their best either. It sounds like an excercise in style more than anything else. it's no coincidence that Lilker and Bramante left the band shortly after its release.
