Honestly sig has one of the poorer quality controls in my experience Plus lots of testing products on civilians and then just releasing a better version on their dime i don’t think they’ve dropped a single gun recently that hasn’t had a big recall
That place was a blast. I've been to a lot of gun factories where oil was just pooling on the floor and folks seemed like they were right out of a 1940s steel works newsreel but this place was hyper-modern.
You should take a trip over to Lewiston Idaho and take a tour of the Seekins Precision Headquarters. Get a free gift during the tour...can't say what it is tho!
Motivated people that are respected by management goes along way to producing any product. I’ve been in both environments, good and bad, hands downs the quality of the product is direct result of good managers and happy respected motivated people.

Chris, thanks for your video. I hope Sig finally dealt with the earlier issues with the 22 LR P322. There appeared to be problems with the barrel not being fully finished. I just can't help but thinking how those P322 pistols could have made it through all those inspection checks and not have been detected.
I have only one complaint about modern Sigs and that's the plastic box they come in. It's just enough to ship and store the gun in, and no better. I'd like it to be a better box, almost on the level of a Pelican case, that I could use as a transit case when travelling with firearms. A sturdy, lockable box that would not be easy to break into and wouild last for years and years if I used it regularly on the road. The box that came with my TISAS 1911 is much better than the box my Sig came with.
That would increase their costs significantly. They're about that bottom line, as most large-scale commercial companies are. All about that dollar bill.

I love Sig. I have a 226 Legion, 365, 938, and a 238. All function perfectly all the time. I’m disappointed in their new 365 in 380 however. I wish they had gone a little smaller rather than use the 9mm frame size. Right now the Ruger LCP Max is the 380 carry to have…Sig needs to answer.
I just wanted to see the kimbler elves making these expensive good , i asked good store owner to see a rifle once the rifle was awesome looking it was honey badger for 1800.00 dollars , i said is made out of gold , he said look at the side it says sig its expensive but quality is worth it

Lol, last 2 sigs I’ve bought have had a card claiming to include their new lube…. Yet there was absolutely no lube samples in the case😂 I’m not too upset, my p320 is over rated beside modularity but my p229 legion is the best gun I’ve shot.
Ove been a SIGgan for years but I'm sad to say they've lost a customer with the attitude of the 320/375 issues. To carry my xcarry comfortably I want to ad the manual safety but they want $265plus the cost of a new grip module. Now add the recall on the rattler they refuse to even look at because it doesn't have a ssn. Duh it is a conversion kit to convert an AR. not happy customer. I'll be changing brands now...
Sawbone IOMC I guess you missed the part about products being made in three other states besides New Hampshire or when he said they always need more people because machines can't check the product. The robots just do a more precise job than the old machines and methods.

I don't understand how a company can have such great public relations and overall consensus about their product and yet they put out such a mediocre product at best and an awful hand grenade of a product that worst. The guy who left Kimber and destroyed that company quality came over to Sig few years ago and that's when all these problems started. The Fanboys of Sig worse than Glock. The German stuff is great but anything made in Exeter New Hampshire is a liability. 🤷

A problem literally no one can verify or recreate despite the 320 being one of the most popular pistols for a few years. Hundreds of thousands of them in America and people are concerned about cops negligently shooting themselves and claiming the gun just randomly went off by itself?😂
@@markcurry3083 Exactly. Folks forget about how Glock had to change their trigger just for the NYPD because they were not trained on striker pistols. It is easy for LEOs to bash SIG after their P320 trigger was fixed since it gave them an excuse for negligence even after the military had no more problems with it.
Fun Fact: Some of the CNC Machines are made by SW, or Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen, which was the former machine tool division of Heckler&Koch ;)

I own 2 Sig, a P229, and a P365. I love them. My P229 will shoot 3 calibers, .40SW, 9mm, and .357 Sig.
Film the entire 320 production start to finish. Plus show where all of the parts come from (not Sig).
I own one of the weird ones. Part made here in the USA, part made in Germany. Both ties by the serial number.
All gun factories seem the same, they take a piece of bar stock, stick it into a CNC mill and assembled the machined bits.

I have a 365 and it rusts pretty quickly. I live near the sea, maybe that's why.
