Love the scrape tape!! The shaving cream is going to be a great project with my grandkids!! I make decoupage tissue boxes.. The coffee leather paper is great for a unique look!!
We've done the shaving cream paper with our grandkids. We used food coloring and shaving cream, though. I think Deidre's paint/water mixture is a MUCH better idea!
@ 1:35, i love this idea, and i love the card you made with 3 scrap tapes. very cool! what glue did you use to adhere the bottom side of the tape to the card paper / card stock? the shaving cream paper is also quite interesting. where do you find these ideas? are many of the ideas original to you? WOW! can i suggest something you may not have shown us? could you created a tie dye effect on paper? what size paper would you recommend: is bigger better? would you scrunch up the paper a lot first to make it more flexible like fabric? would you spritz it with a little mist of water to make it slightly moist or leave it dry? what kind of paper could you use that could withstand being tied tightly with string to create the unstained areas in the tie dye? i just *know* you could do this!
I don’t how you come up with these ideas but it’s pure genius. There’s so much fun to be had with these crafts and I’m sure kids would marvel at this kind of crafting. It’s nice to stray away from the ordinary once in a while and test your creativity. That’s whT you offer us, thanks.
You always amaze me, that faux leather paper just blew my mind. Simple things is what I believe makes everything better. Once again thank you for sharing this idea.
👎 gonna go against the "herd" here and express my opinion. ONE out of six of these is truly using scrap paper. I have a hard time getting behind the idea that copy paper equals "scrap" paper and yet half of these ideas using "scrap" paper (as the title of the video implies) use fresh copy paper. Yes, she says you can use any scraps, but honestly - do you think that your marbled paper would come out looking as lovely on something not pristine white?? Let's call this what it is: CLICKBAIT. Better she just title this: 3 ways to use copy paper. SMH. What a poser.
