    INGREDIENTS for the Berta Jay's
    Vegan "Butter" with NO OIL
    ---------------------------------------------------------
    1. Into a high-speed blender, put:
    a. ¼ cup plant milk (I used 1 tablespoon coconut creamer + 3 tablespoons rice milk)
    b. ½ cup cooked cauliflower (yes, that's right, cauliflower)
    c. pinch of turmeric
    d. ¼ teaspoon salt
    e. 1 teaspoon tapioca flour
    2. BLENDERIZE until smooth for about 1- 2 minutes
    3. Place this mixture in a pan and cook over medium heat until thickened for about
    30 - 40 seconds.
    4. Let cool (or serve warm). Spread on toast, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and such like.
    5. That's it....ENJOY!
This recipe was inspired by Anja at • Oil Free Vegan Butter ...

Very good technique, very healthy butter with "no oil", indeed. Thanks a lot for this very nice recipe. One question about cauliflower: Can we use another vegetable instead such as potato or yum? And do we need to refrigerate after it is cooled down? Regards from Canada.

Honestly, SilverCrow, I have not used this for baking cookies. Corn starch is a thickener like tapioca starch so it could, but again, I have never used it in this recipe so I don't know for sure. Give it a try and see how it acts. I'd be excited to tell the other Troupers on this channel. Good questions, though.
