You should have benches in the scene at the end of the Corn Stalkers maze for people who need to sit down and take a little break from walking next year.
Or this year! I actually purchased a bench on clearance at Home Depot yesterday - if I get the time to build it I will put it there as per your suggestion.
Absolutely fantastic! Have to admit, I’m a little jelly 🤣😂🥰👍🎃 I’m not a fan of massive amounts of props but the fact you have so much space and laid out the seems so well, mixed with your own touches has made this a truly phenomenal haunt!!!! lol Ty so much! Yeah I know that I teeter on being a hoarder with it, but the way you said it is exactly what I’m going for. Laid out thoughtfully and purposefully with lots of action and stuff to see everywhere. The props immerse you in the experience and there is a lot to see and do.

This is awesome man! How do you/they (props and animatronics) handle wind and rain? How many outlets and circuits do you use? What do you do to guard against theft/vandalism? Where did you get the demogorrgon? Do you charge for entry? Thanks!
Hi! Thank you! Wind concerns me more than rain - I cover the props with bags to keep them from getting wet, but sometimes the bags get caught by the wind and that’s when problems can happen (bag blows off etc). Demogorgon is from Walmart - think they still sell them. Only had minor issues with vandalism. We just have a big presence out there all month long and try to have actors in different scenes to both interact with guests and monitor guest behavior. Yes we do charge - $10 adults, $5 kids, but we also have events where it’s $5 for anyone! Check my site for more details: twistedtrails.nyc
Yes that’s true- I have sitter of souls from HD last year and she’s battery operated. The theme for the maze though is basically scarecrows, pumpkins, and forest creatures, so trying to stick to those 3. Headless horseman is a stretch but I didn’t really know where else to put him.
Hard work & dedication pays off! Since July til September Friday the 13th. We can’t wait to walk thru at night with everything on. The most amazing haunt you will ever see! 🤙🏻💪🏻
Ty, it’s one of my favorite scenes as well. When I imagined it, I definitely expected it to be the best this year, but a couple of others definitely came pretty close. Top 3 (to me) are pirates, zombies, and mummies.
@@twistedtrails8485 I love the detail in the pirate scene, and I’m so excited to see the alien area too. the mummy scene is absolutely amazing too. I’m doing a pirate scene as well and am taking inspiration from this for it. The mummies, tombs, fire, and pyramid all make it Disney-esqe and the giant dinosaur skeleton makes me LOL everytime I see it! I live in south NJ but I really want to drive up to visit sometime. Great work and have a great season!

For the Maze, if you use some tekky items they can also work on batteries. Can bypass tbe power cord problems

Do you keep all of your animatronics together or do you destroy them and then rebuild them whenever it’s time and how do you do all that?
This is the first year I kept most of them together. Had to get 7 storage units and rent a truck to bring stuff back and forth.

Buy a mini motion activated sound sensor, then have it blast spooky sounds at max volume, that sets it off
