It’ll be fun to watch and see what you all end up doing to the renegade. We’ve just started looking at finding a project ATV as well to build for my wife to have a mud bike! Keep up the great work guys!
IF it starts fine, then after warming up, hard to crank, slow turning over, youll need new rod bearings, when they are cold they are normal size, when they are warm they swell, Meaning the bikes Probably been sank, However, dont know what you got it for, But theres a guy on youtube teaches how to rebuilt the motor, step by step by step,
The restart issue after it gets warm is from the tune thats been added to the bike. Thats the same ol classic issue that many have when they change the setup on the tune. They are very well known for it. Go with a milder tune and itll be fine
Unfortunately, as you guys will see Don, the crank tore up in it most likely from being sunk and the bearings are toast. It was literally seizing up lol
Hey man how's it going I wasn't expecting to see start the channel off ! Cool man very cool dude! 🤘🏽 il be sure to catch up on the vids an throw some comments in as well
I want to get in the chat and let you know I had a 2012 do the same thing to me and it was the fuel pump. The fuel filter was clogged on the bottom of the fuel pump. It would run for 30 minutes eat up and it shut off, I took the fuel pump out, cleaned it and it ran so I decided to change it
Overrated 🤷♂️ renegades are basically just a less practical outlander. No difference in performance but has no utility purpose. Whatever a renegade can do, an outlander does better
@@dennisdwagner2012 they make racks for renegades plus I have no intentions of ever using mine as a “utility”. Maintenance and cleaning the renegades are far superior for the simple fact everything isn’t covered by 40,000 plastic covers. I can have a belt changed in less then 2 mins on a renegade, can’t say that for a outlander 🤷🏼♂️
On video it sounded good, but he had to literally keep it going with throttle because it was seizing up and wanting to stall. We found metal in the oil
All I’m saying is….welcome to the renny crew😏 Now get that thing right & let’s go hole for hole again😈
Thanks for watching Joe. Hopefully, she'll be ready for Busco. If not we can still go hole for hole with the 850.
@@LetDirtFly Of course! Sounds like a plan🤘🏻

Congrats on the new machine Seth! Should be interesting, I have no doubt!
BTW if it gets parted out I would take some of the plastics 😊
We’re hoping to get here going here soon! The engine just happens to be on the bunch in pieces at the moment 😂. We’re just doing some “maintenance” 😅
Alot of memories with that bike

Ive had that problem on 2 renegades before… it was both bad grounds.. when it get hot you couldnt start it or was harder… had to wait back to start it
Yep, def needs crank bearings,
Without any doubt! Hopefully cheap enough wouldnt really matter, has potential to be a great bike!
I think i saw that one swamped, some ether and octane booster good as new
I Can't wait until you guys get that thing going it will be an animal.
