The idea of these videos is to give a "realistic" view on the whole process involved in making an instrument and not just the "fun" part, as well as showing how much attention to detail and time is necessary during every step of the construction.

Watching this process is always incredibly fascinating to me. Making a cello looks like a lot more work than making a violin (though they both certainly take an enormous amount of skill and craftsmanship).
It certainly is!
A cello usually takes me more than double the amount of time, so it for sure is a long and exhausting process haha, but very rewarding too :)
Why the glue on the base of the neck at about 3:30 ?
