I was born in the late 1940's like these guys, so I grew up with these songs first time around, and I'm singing along! Anyone else?

I adore John Deacon smiling and grinning about Freddie...he couldn't stop watching Freddie 😊

He left after 1st tribute concert. He was devastated. You could see that he didn't want to be there and said Queen isn't Queen without Freddie.

@4721lynn He didn't leave Queen. He left in 1997. After the Queen and Elton John with the Bejart ballet company show.. He said to Roger and Brian, that was it, he couldn't do it anymore. He hit a depression and was drinking and having an affair. But he got over it all it seems as he is still with his wife Veronica Tetzlaff today.

Queen is great. When Freddie's voice cracks its just so everyone knows he's human❤

This is my favourite medley. Not only because of the songs, but because of the performance, the unity, the brotherhood, the energy, the feeling, all of them went crazy and the audience loved it, like we do it nowadays.

Brilliant… crazy little thing called love was a tribute to Elvis. Never thought I’d hear him do hello Marylou that’s what makes them special. Cheers for this

I absolutely love this! Watching their interactions… especially how John watches Freddie! You can see where their roots are with layering and harmonies listening to them cover songs from their childhood. Great concert!

One of my favorite moments from Queen's shows, even when joking they do an impeccable job! And when they visited a country where these songs were not so well known they created something that people could identify with, at Rock in Rio Freddie created Rock in Rio Blues which sounds wonderful, please check it out. Hugs from Brazil ❤

@@TrevorReaction Queen was a complete pioneer in performing shows in South America (including making history by playing in Argentina during the dictatorship and attracting an audience of more than 300,000 people to Rock in Rio), it's well worth checking out. Thank you! ❤️‍🔥

Hi Trevor! Yes they can do everything. Freddie also wrote Life is Real a tribute to John Lennon whom Freddie adores. If you listen to this blindfolded you would say it’s The Beatles. Amazing!

The neatest is Roger -so quickly after wop-bop-a lou-bop singing center stage with his tambourine magically is up high in his band stand viciously pounding out the drums for that ending

Hey everyone, Queen has by far become my favorite band ever and it would be my dream to see them live while it’s still possible. Unfortunately i don’t have the money to be able to do it. If any of you could help me that would mean the world to me, even just $1 could make the difference between me being able to go or not. If you want to help you can donate through my paypal link in the description or with the “Thanks” button to the right of the Like button. Of course if you can’t that’s totally okay, and i completely understand :)
Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Freddy used to make it a point to say its all of us .. very different people .. that is the "queen sound"! He made it a point to put attention on them on stage

This was such a TREAT!! Rarely does anyone react to Queen performing these iconic early rock 'n roll songs...I know every word because I listened to these songs growing up on my little pink radio which was plugged into the wall next to my bed. (Yes, Trevor, I'm that old!!) I just love seeing these 4 incredible guys having such a great time together and doing such a wonderful job covering these songs. Thanks Trevor...So nice to see you back reacting...missed you and your insightful reactions.

Thank you so much for all the support and i’m happy to be back! And thank you for helping me get closer to being able to see these awesome guys live! Even if it’s just Brian and Roger now with Adam Lambert it’ll still be an amazing time and they put on an incredible show :)

This is the Music that these guys cut their teeth on as kids. Its the first influences they had. Frankly they did them better than the original artists.
One of the most difficult things a performer can do is unplug the band, and do acoustic and vocal renditions, and still sound amazing. I remember watching Dolly Parton on the Johnny Carson tonight show when I was a kid. Johnnie was interviewing her, and asked ,"will you do a song for us" . " Of Course" she replied. Then reached behind the couch she was on and retrieved her acoustic guitar. " Ill do it right here" she said . And she proceeded to do the most incredible and beautiful ballad I had ever heard to date.
THIS MOMENT , was this young 12 year old musician, guitar players first lesson.
It is when I discovered the difference between a musician , and a legend. When you strip away the glitz ..you see the reality of what they really have
You could have recorded her live on that couch , and it would have sold platinum. This lady is a REAL artist. Just as Freddie and the boys are TRUE< REAL artists in their genre , By every measure of the words and concept.

Love your reaction Trevor. Check out Killer Queen/I'm in Love With My Car live at Montreal. If you want to gain greater appreciation for how hard Roger works during a show watch Roger Taylor cam live at Wembley. There is one that's 19 minutes and 4 songs. Keep up the great job.

I've only just discovered your channel and have been going down a Freddie Mercury rabbit-hole with you... 😁 I particularly love your reactions as they are detailed and analytical. (Also, surprisingly, I've never seen footage of him singing material other than his own before seeing this...👍)

    Hey Trevor,
    I have a request please…
When you’re pausing the video to make comments, can you please figure out how to just freeze the video image but keep it visible up on the screen that your viewers see? (So that the paused video isn’t always “blinking on and off.)

    • @TrevorReaction
      @TrevorReaction  8 місяців тому

Yes, i’ll do my best to do that and remember :)
If you watch i do do that sometimes but not all the time, sometimes i’ll put other images on the screen while i’m talking but i’ll make sure to keep the video up and frozen while talking 👍
