I'm just gonna say i'm really proud i can show you this video today, because. I'm also very anxious about what you will all think of it, but i trust you will find it good and not too long. I had to make this tribute for Jon, because he is basically one of my favorite character ever, so i just hope you will enjoy the video

I don't know how to put it in Titles but I would also add the fact he was resurrected from the dead. Would have loved to hear at least once him in titles during the show.

@@theunknown9214 Not necessarily. It was just as much, maybe more so Bolton behavior, particularly killing Stark men outside the hearth, then laying claim to all that were Stark titles and possessions in the North.
There is missing line from Aemon Targaryen when he said "A Targaryen all alone in the world is a terrible thing" that would fit perfect for the ending scene

That was one of the clinchers for me. Aemon says that and jon walks in. It was just too much. A blue rose falls from a wall of ice? You may not have my name, but you have my blood? By that time it was the worst kept secret. We all knew he'd be resurrected and that was the point that the show was forced to surpass the books. It was at that point that Western Civilization began its collapse onto the trash heap of history. "We've 'ad uh good run, boys! But our time 'as come!"
It may sound a bit melodramatic, but my 17 minute power point will prove beyond any reasonable doubt that it;'s a factual statement.

Jon saved Westros from both Ice and Fire danger and so he is real saviour of Westros 🙏
He would never have managed to beat the WW without Dany's help though.

One can take comfort in an imaginary sequel along these lines: John Stark- Targaryen spends the next 20-25 years in the wilderness beyond the Wall free & at peace while also growing in wisdom & judgment. King Bran the Vegetable comes to decides that he wants to become less active and make like a tree in winter. Hand of the King Tyrion Lannister has had a ball of a time being the real ruler of Westeros (minus the North) but nostalgia for Casterly Rock and the desire to finally ready to settle down with a wife and enjoy family life, he asks to retire to the Rock. And so, at the initiative of Lady Sansa of Winterfell, Queen in the North, who wishes to maintain stability and peace through a smooth succession at King's Landing, a message is sent to her brother Jon, pleading with him to return from exile and rule as the rightful King of Westeros. She, Sam, Bran, and Tyrion all vouch for Jon as true heir to the throne and so all the high lords consent to the return of the crown to the last Targaryen.
As to the Unsullied? They're all in their 50s or dead by bug bite by then. It's not like they have sons and grandsons to take up arms to go enforce an old treaty, especially with no allies in the West.
And why not? GRR Martin made it all up anyway and then B&B changed it a lot. Fans can use their imaginations, too!

Jon snow used to be my favourite character in the show. From a high born bastard who couldn’t inherit anything to a king in the north to the secret heir to the iron throne. Jon’s arc was so satisfying and was going in the right direction until D&D butchered his character in season 8.
Jon is saving the world from ice AND fire. There was never a fairytale ending with both or one of them on the throne. Dany was meant to break the wheel yet she just took it over. Her 'justice' and opinion was absolute. She wasn't mad. She was just wrong. That's the whole point being made. Jon made the selfless sacrifice and got a bittersweet exile from his love and family, but gained freedom beyond the wall.

@Adan Huerta Lol, the show writers ruined Dany's character at the end. They did great when they had the books. I wish George R.R. Martin could have guided them to a more successful end. I will always favor Jon over Dany, but I wish they could have worked together in the end with her being stable and caring like Jon. She was on the right path but became psychotically power hungry by the end. It was a weird change that didn't really fit her original purpose and personality. I wouldn't want Jon and Dany as a couple but they could have been a family that stood by each other and led the people with strength, mercy, and justice. I really wanted a better end for both.
@@MarC-te4he You are very deluded if you think Daenerys has changed out of nowhere, she has always been like that, I know it's confusing, but watch the entire series from the beginning and pay more attention to certain of her attitudes
As much as part of me was dissatisfied with his ending, he was The Prince that was Promised, not the King that was Promised.
I know, but if something should have happened it is that both Jon and Daenerys die (after a hard fight with the Night King) and their child rules the Westeros with Tyrion as regent. That would be satisfying enough.
The way I viewed it was that he was a prince when he was promised.
But I get what you're saying and sadly it'll probably play out the same. I hope it's better though. He got severely fucked over by everyone in the end. Jaime killed an actual reigning king who wanted to burn the city. Jon killed a woman who just decimated the city and was proclaiming herself queen.

Having Davos to teach ethics, Sam to teach medicine, Tyrion to educate about history, Arya and Brienne to teach fighting, Pod could teach...whatever he does, Sansa could teach lying to family and self centeredness and Bran could teach creepiness.

Game of thrones is an emotion and jon snow is the best character in it . He sacrificed his love ,his comfort , fortune was terrible to him .He was never a bastard .The true air to iron throne. no matter how writer's wrote the ending but he is king forever ❤️

I have to agree with so many of the comments about Jon. I will never ever forget this character. I hope I don't always feel like I am in love with Jon Snow!!! Hey, I can't help myself. But I guess you know what I mean. He has been simply outstanding - a character to NEVER FORGET.
All that and nothing comes of it besides "your my Queen" and "I don't want the throne". I hated his character at first because of his sulking but as they built his character and you realized what he could be and how important he really is. I will never forgive D&D for the way they threw this show away to move onto another project.

Game of thrones is simply a story of Jon Snow. The show's original name was "SONG OF ICE AND FIRE". Ice is a representation of the Starks and FIRE, the Tigerians. Jon Snow was a son of a Stark and Tigerian hence a song of ice and fire is a song of Jon Snow

The dumbest thing about this show why tell him who he is if he doesn’t use it the ending was a great disappointment to the greatest show of all time 😭
Bran used the information to push Daenerys further into paranoia and madness. It was always obvious, because Bran stated several times that he don't care about anyone anymore. Yet, it was important for him to let Jon Snow know his origin.
In the end, he acted as a proper king, and protected his people from the mad queen.
Jon Snow, as king of the north, was exiled to the north. As Aegon Targerion, he could come claim the throne of the seven kingdoms, if he wanted it.
I agree, what was the point of revealing him as a targaryen if he gets sent back to the wall, all his sacrifices all his heroics for that ending, I will Always hate HBO for the ending they gave this brilliant show.
@@marcochelotti5495 Because the main reason why he was a Targaryen was not to rule the Seven Kingdoms. Rhaegar sought to conceived him because he was looking to fulfill the prophecy of the Prince that was Promised. In the end, Jon fulfilled his role, he was brought for to life to be a sacrificial hero and that he was, he was sacrificed from the beginning even if he didn't know it. Raised as a bastard even though he was the legitimate heir to the throne. And yet, when he learned the truth of his origin, he was finally given agency, he somehow remained true to himself. Duty above all. He killed Daenerys for the good of Westeros and accepted the consequences of his actions. Isn't that the most Jon Snow thing to do? The Ned would have been proud.

IMPORTANT! I’ve listened to every Jon snow tribute.. they are my favorite things in the world and there are some amazing tribute videos out there but this one... this one is truly brilliant... I’m such a nerd for these things to the point where I watch them everyday.. on my way to class I listen to this I’m straight up addicted to this video.. after watching every Jon snow tribute I can now say with confidence this video is the greatest tribute video for Jon.. 1. The first part all about the nights watch - great!
2. The second part all the white walker shit - incredible! Like this is my favorite part and it pumps me up I use this scene at the gym when I’m working out sometimes
3. The ending where it’s slow and sad and about jons heritage and what he has to do with Dany - so sad!! I love this like I feel every emotion out there when I watch this video!!

See, I did warn you all about being a technophobe! Will wrap up quick but the way you structured this was more keeping with past seasons and I believe GRRM writing - the music you picked, the beats juxtaposed with the rich and overlapping dialogue and visually and aurally demonstrating how character arcs SHOULD still have been presented and reminding the audience of how the characters AND THE ACTORS, grew up in a very authentic human way. Given especially now that he is taking time out to process the whole thing i think seeing something like this, may help the actor and remind him that the audience were still somewhat invested (before it aired), in him as a core character, even though the powers that be were like meh, whatever, as far as I can tell and it's only my opinion, but I think because it went out with a whisper and not a bang, - the audience - like the north. ..
The audience remembers.
Oh and a shout out to Ramin Djiwadi for an amazing score and the various crew members who rose to the challenge and did their jobs amazingly.
And finally, like I said, I think this is one of the best fan videos I have seen so well done and I wish you good fortune in the times to come.

and created his own house i think in the books he'll unite not just the wildings but will radicalize all the bastards of westeros and basically create his own house/faction based around the Night's watch ideals where it consists of all the illegitimate children of westeros not just of the north. would be a great way for him to raise an army of his own Bastards of illegitimate probably outnumber all the armies of the seven kingdoms and i think they would all flock to Jon who is known as THE bastard of westeros if they heard he was giving them rank and purpose and a place to belong.
@@michaelkean5969 I was getting ready to respond with a negative comment, but reading this fully, I somewhat agree. Even after learning that he was a Targaryen, and also finally being seen as a true Stark, he was still obviously torn. You can see that he just didn't belong to either faction. His true home was beyond the wall.
It would have been great if at the end Jon meets Ygritte in that forest and when he ask her how is she alive she would tell him that it's a gift from Bran as in the three eyed raven.
