I think the difference between Camille and others (Caroline and Aurora) she loved him through the darkness. Caroline saw good and Aurora saw only darkness. Both knew what he was capable of evil. Klaus knew Caroline wouldn't choose him. He knew that both Aurora and himself weren't the same people anymore and they're trying to start something was now was too one sided. Camille may have made him vulnerable but she was who taught him people can be kind and not really ask for anything in return. Although if one thinks Camille made him weak, than what about Hope? The moment he held his daughter he knew that he would do anything for her.

I can't believe people like Klaroline more than Klamille. I understand why they see more chemistry when it's Klaroline, but Klamille was so much intense and mature! If Klaroline actually could happen, I don't believe they could ever be this much deep and loving.
