Just FYI, you can connect the hose to where you would normally connect the mister or the "bottom of the T." I have the two misters connected to the top two outlets of the "T." This allows me to only require the tip (T shape) of one nozzle with both misters poking through the mesh, flush. I rotate the "T" flat over the top of the enclosure with the hose laying across making it nearly unnoticeable.
I just received mine and it works way better than the last one I got the smart intelligent spray system which was so loud it would wake me up when it went off. This moistenland is so much quieter thank god. Lets hope it holds up longer than the other that broke before the year was up
Just set one of these up in an Exo Terra 18x18x24 for a bio active crestie house yesterday. So far so good. If it only lasts a year, I think it's worth it. If it's still going after 6 months or so, for the price point, I'll buy a couple more as spares. Also plumbed in an unused humidifier for a bit of humidity through the day when the lights are on if needed without actually watering.
Just taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. I also don’t read from a script. If the speed of the video is too slow for you, I’m sure there are other review videos for you to watch instead.
I used mine for over a year, and it worked great. I only quit using it because I had to rehome my snake. I had it set to spray every 2 hours for 15 seconds I believe. I know some people have had complaints about it not working, but my experience has been great!
So as soon as you plug it in it starts counting time, so once you set the timer to spray every hour, it will spray immediately as soon as you set it, and then every hour after that as long as it’s plugged in. It will also remember your settings if you unplug it or lose power.
The way I went and watched this and was like oh he has a ball python cool me too and then he showed what kind and I was like WE GOT THE SAME MORPH?!!!!! 😂😂
the problem is that your tank has a screen top and all the humidity goes out from the top it looks like you have a exo terra you could cover half of the screen with a peice of glass and that should hold more humidity in so you don't have to mist so much hope that helps
Not real sure on that. Does the dripping stop if you unplug the unit? If so then it is probably just a leak from the nozzle. If it’s a leak from the nozzle you can just try tightening it up, or you may have to contact them for a replacement nozzle if the dripping persists.
my plan is to use this inside of a mini greenhouse to grow carnivours plants speciricly lowland nepenthes pitcher plants and id rather have something compact then a huge humifire inside the greenhouse. tho i am curious how well this will handle hard water sense my distiller takes 5 hours to make a gallon of distilled water id rather just fill up a 5 gallon bucket of water for long term useage
I know that the mister can obviously be used for something like that. I personally have only used distilled water with it, so I am unable to answer how well it works with hard water. You may find your answer if you check some of the product reviews for the mister on different websites where it is available for sale. Hope it will work for you!
I think im possibly doing something wrong... i just got it a couple days ago and im wanting it to go off for 10 seconds every 5 hours and its not doing it. Am i missing a setting?
There should only be the two settings, your how long should be set to 10 and your how often should be set to 0.5 if you’re wanting to spray for 10 seconds every 5 hours.
There is no way to set a specific time to spray. It keeps time internally as soon as you plug it in, so if you want it to spray at a specific time of day, like at 7:00 am you would need to plug it in and start it at 7:00 am and then set it to spray once a day and then it will spray every day at 7:00 am if that makes sense.
If you have an Exo Terra, there are often pre-built slots to run the lines through. If not, you have to cut holes in the screen yourself. You trim the tubing to your liking and just connect them and cap off the one end so water doesn't flow out
I installed mine today, but I have an important question, Is your mister still working today? I read some reviews saying that it stops working after 90 days of use
So it comes with everything you need other than something to cut the tubing with. You’ll cut the tube and put in a connector piece that will allow you to start one nozzle from one end, but will also allow you to connect more tubing on the other end to add the other nozzle.

So glad you’re happy with your purchase! Mine is still working great! One of the best purchases I’ve made!

How’s it held up since you made this comment?? Currently considering it for the same sized tank for my crestie as well!!
Just got mine and definitely recommend it 100% over the reptirain
I went through so many videos until I found one that gives a detailed installation. Thanks!
You are very welcome! 😁
How much lift does it have? Could you put the bottle of water on the floor and still get water to the nozzle?
@@rjgillis7109 I would say so
@@rjgillis7109 I have my Reservoir on the ground. I set mine up yesterday and have it going off every four hours and it works just fine.
This was so incredibly helpful!
Thank you!
Great video!! Thanks my friend

How frequently and how long did you have the misting set for and how long did the gallon of water last with your settings?

Thanks man. So does it spray every hour from the time you plug it in? How does it know what time of day to spray?

For some reason mine keeps dripping after it sprays. It almost seems like it is drawing from the reservoir with minimal power. Any idea why?

Can I set the time I want it to be sprayed? Or do I have to click a button all the time when I want it to spray?

@@reptometryreptiles6455 I see, so I can plug it in at 7 am and set it once a day and it will automatically spray at that time no interruptions?
@@Cobra-527-03 Yes
@@reptometryreptiles6455 do you know any spraying systems that you can set the time for it to spray?
@@Cobra-527-03 off the top of my head no, but I’m sure you probably can with a mist king. I’ve never personally owned one though, so I’m not sure.
Does it have an always on mode so it can be attached to an external humidity controller?
That’s what I was wondering. But I did see a “manual” button near the bottom.
I came to this video to look how to set up the nozzles and Bro completely ignore that instruction

@@reptometryreptiles6455 thank you! It works great
Cant figurw out how to make mine mist instead of spray like a power hose.
Should just have to twist the end of the nozzle to tighten it, that should restrict the output some
@reptometryreptiles6455 I tried the other nozzle. The first was defective and sprayed way too hard but thanks.
@@jurassicroom7673 okay cool, glad you figured it out!
@reptometryreptiles6455 Yeah I think it was missing a spring, cause my Grandma's red foot tortoise got a power wash instead of a a lite mist.
Just set mine up and it just sprays/leaks out the joint when turned on. Any ideas? I don't see anything to tighten to fix it
How do you setup both nozzels
